Gianni Versace was born in Italy and became inspired to start his own clothing brand becuase of his mom who ran her own dressmaking buisness. Later Gianni Versace became one of the most popular designers during the 1980s and the 90s. He was based in Italy and began his collection in 1978. He later expanded his brand by creating more than just clothes. He produced perfumes and furniture. He worked with his brother and sister. The versace style was known for there glam and siren dresses. He used unique techniques with the use of laser technology to fuse leather and rubber. His most known peice was the Elizabeth Hurley dress. It was a black dres put together with the use of gold safety pins. This dress caught many peoples eyes. He was later able to designed peices for Madonna, Princess Diana, Elton John, and Tina Turner. Versache was able to display his design in many museums and Londons Royal College of Art. He later was Murdered at the age of 50, but the brand was later continued by his good friend Antonio D’Amico and his family.
