Nail Color Trends of 2017 Color trends are in constant motion throughout the year. Nail colors are a prominent way to see these styles in everyday life. This season some Pantone color trends are Grenadine, a bright red, Tawny Port, a dark maroon, Ballet Slipper, a pale pink, Butterum, a simple beige, and Navy Peony, a dark blue. These are common colors that are effortless to match with. Painting your nails to match a specific outfit is a simple way to make a look more fashionable. Some other Pantone colors evident holiday season are a Neutral Gray, Shaded Spruce, which is a dark teal, Golden Lime, Marina, a light blue, and Autumn Maple, a pumpkiny orange color. Golden Lime and Autumn Maple are especially prevalent in not only nail colors, but also apparel trends. Those colors can be seen in various jeans, skirts, and blouses. They are colors that appear

flattering on everyone. However, if bolder colors are not your thing, Neutral Gray or Butterum are a safe option to pair with any outfit. Having your nails done is a confidence booster, it makes an outfit feel complete. Adding decorative rings to a look can add even more spice and change an outfits appearance. Painting your nails, a neutral, basic color can be useful when keeping polish on for an extended period of time. It is useful because they are versatile colors that look stunning with a variety of appearances. Anyone with a bold sense of style can rock a gorgeous Marina or Shaded Spruce. Not everyone has the taste for these colors, however, anyone can pull them off. Matching a Ballet Slipper pink with darker colored garments are complimentary with one another. Even if you don’t have beautiful nails you can still boost your confidence by getting your nails done. Acrylics are a good option for someone with not the strongest nails. Although, gel nails are also a good alternative. Getting a manicure or pedicure is a fun experience that is doable any time of year. If you are planning to get your nails done, or paint your nails yourself sometime soon, tryout a seasonal trend!

Throughout the table were large glass vases varying in sizes. In the vases were tall candle sticks in small rustic candle holders. The bride and groom had large cream chairs, while the rest of the party had modern, clear, plastic chairs. The newlywed couple also had exclusive copper goblets, as well as their own champagne glasses. In front of the bride and groom’s seats was also a beautiful bouquet of light colored flowers. Off the stage, in front of the head table, was a round table with the cake. The cake was located at one end of the square dance floor. The table was covered in a gold sequenced table cloth. The table had multiple tiers each embellished in gold, as well as simple flowers throughout. The cake table also included votive candles. Directly after the ceremony the wedding

The tables had a decorative gold runner and votive candles. As the guests entered the venue they had the chance to sign a branch of tree that the bride had created herself. This same table is where guests could place their gifts. The gift table had a gold sequenced runner, it also had
framed pictures of the couple. Next to the guest table was a table that also had a gold runner, and is where guests could get their name cards for their tables. Such significant time and consideration is put into planning the perfect wedding. This wedding came together elegantly, yet ever so uniquely.

Hairstyles for the holidays High, Split Pony If there’s one way to make a ponytail interesting, is my making it sleek in the front. The trick is in where you position it, aim to situate your pony base as high as you can and in the center. Bubble Pony Most of us likely first encountered the bubble pony on animated Disney heroines, but its latest iteration is anything but childish. The style is modern and easy. Just pull your hair into a high pony, space elastics every few inches, and pull on both sides of each section to get that rounded effect. Sleek Side Part If you just got a bob your updo options might feel a bit limited, having your hair tucked back style is a great option. Smooth a pomade through your hair for a similar look. Undone Side Braid side braid is a work of casual, beautiful art. To replicate it, part your hair deep to one side, and then start braiding just below your jawline. Tug on a few sections to loosen them, and this look can go anywhere. Scrunchie It The scrunchie is back. Look for one in denim, or velvet and wear them low and loose. Chic Cuff Add a cuff around the base of your bun, and boom, your hair is next-level. Textured Pony beachy texture, plus a low-maintenance low pony. Douse your hair with wave spray, and tease your hair for some oomph before tying it back. Updos Holiday parties call for sleek updos, but if
you don’t want to look like everyone else, a tiny braid up the back of your bun adds a little something extra. Delicate Twists Pulling your hair back is easy enough, but if you flip the half pony in on itself just once, your look gets cooler instantly. Long Waves Using a 2 inch wand to make the perfect beach waves to your hair. Braided Pony High braided pony has us especially enamored. Come wind, rain, snow, or wintry mix, that style’s going to stay solid. Braided Base For the girl with a ton of hair, this is for you. Braid your bottom layers and cross them over. It looks like you went to the salon for this one. Whimsical Pony The trick to making a messy pony look like “I woke up like this” hair and not actual rumpled bedhead? Give your hair some bends with a curling iron before pulling it up, then tease the crown. Elsa Braid Really long hair, the ability to fishtail, and the patience to pull each and every section to make your braid look fuller. The Classic Pony Sometimes it’s easy to overdo it, but a tight high pony along with an all-black ensemble can never be wrong.

Fashion trends are in constant motion. This fall and winter there are some pretty distinct trends. Many styles from the past have been surfacing lately, such as body suits, “mom” jeans, and denim skirts. Mom jeans can be paired with practically anything, adding this style of jean to an outfit adds uniqueness and variety. They can be coordinated with anything from a stylish sweater to a simple crewneck. A bold or basic body suit can also look appealing with mom jeans. Body suits appear phenomenal on all body types, they’re flattering to any figure. A typical tank top or short sleeve body suit is a good addition to wear with a comfortable cardigan. Body suits can be dressed up or down and worn with essentially any sort of outfit. Variations of denim has been prominent this season. Both denim skirts and jackets are seen in fashion right now. Denim skirts are also quite versatile when it comes to what is capable of being paired with them. They are commonly seen with sweaters, but can also be worn as a more causal outfit, being paired with a plain t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt. Another eye-catching trend lately is unique skirts. These skirts vary in style; some button all the way up the front, others lace up the sides. Corduroy, suede and velvet are common textiles for these skirts. Again, this trend is capable of pairing with many tops. This type of skirt is alluring with different lengths or fits of sweaters. Tighter fitting sweaters or blouses create a stylish, edgy outfit for a particular occasion. However, a flowy, loose fitting sweating can
18
be just as appealing when wanting to dress up. Adding coordinating tights with these skirts can amp up an outfit even more. Especially when it’s colder out tights can be the perfect addition to an ensemble. Mustard yellow and army green are recurring colors in outfits this fall and winter. Mustard is a bold color that is attractive for all skin tones. Army green however, is a subtler color that is capable of being worn for all occasions. Short boots—booties—are very popular lately, and have been seen in flashier designs. Booties are an exceptional additive to an outfit in order to spice it up a little. They amp up outfits anywhere from simple jeans to an occasion specific dress or skirt. Booties are also a great alternative when wearing heels sounds like a dreadful option. They can be just as stylish and fancy as heels, yet incredibly more comfortable. This style of boot come in many variations. Some are heeled while others are not at all. They also range in textiles and appearances. They are an excellent choice for any sort of event. Eclectic sweaters are very in at the moment. Bolder colored sweaters are often seen, as well as eye catching patterns. Different cuts and shapes of sweaters are also striking to others. Different cuts like the “cold shoulder” style is insanely popular. The cold shoulder style is the trend of having a cut out around a blouses shoulder, creating an appearance that stands out. Sweaters vary in shapes on a spectrum from comfortably oversized to tight fitting. Sweaters are an easy garment to wear, they look great with all types of bottoms. Although everyone has their own sense of style, there are always trends that are followed. Whether they may be closely followed or slightly touched upon, fashion tendencies are perpetually prevalent.

Seasonal necesseties or faux pas Every year when summer melts into fall, we admittedly get pretty excited to revamp our wardrobe. Don’t get us wrong, we love the easy, breezy fashion that comes with warm weather, but the cool, crisp autumn air just gives us so many options. However, when fall turns into winter and multiple layers become mandatory as opposed to an option, we start to run out of cute cold weather outfits quickly. Here are some DO’s and DO NOT’s for this winter season. DON’T get too warm and fuzzy. Fur real or fake can be nice, but you have to wear it and not let it wear you. Try something that gives you a defined shape and people will see you and not just a pile of fuzz. I know you can be very warm wearing a huge fur coat but you don’t want to be looking like a bear.
DO brighten up with some colorful accessories. Add a colorful bag or some colorful shoes to your ensemble this winter season. Adding colors to your style to make this winter season a fun one. DON’T stay in your pajamas. We know its cold outside and having the urge to stay in your pajamas it just makes you not have a productive day. DO winter’s basic black. Think of your trusty black coat as a chance to show off your flirty boots and jewelry. DON’T lose count when layering. Yes, layering is a good thing. But so many layers that you wind up looking like a big pile of laundry? Not so much. DO try a bright coat this season. Wearing a vibrant coat to make your outfit pop. Always feel like you’re wearing something special. DON’T overdo trends. Metallic leggings, colorful knee-high boots, and bright accessories might fit into the trendy category, but when worn all together, they just look wacky. DON’T wear summer clothes. Save the summery garments for warmer weather, not when its 20 degrees outside. Wearing shorts in the cold weather is not only a bad idea but you might just freeze to death. DO show your figure. The cinched-waist coat can show off your curves, even in sub-zero temperatures. Wearing something that shows your figure can make the outfit. DO Keep your white outfit choice elegant as can be with jeans, a silk tank, and single-breasted coat. Colorless as white may be, opting for head-to-toe monochrome is a fashion statement all on its own, so when in doubt keep 20 your look refined and simple in silhouette.
ICE SKATING APPAREL
Going ice skating takes some advance planning. Listed below are the things you need to bring with you to an ice skating rink. When you ice skate, your body will move around a lot, so a very heavy jacket is usually not needed. A sweatshirt, jacket, or sweater may be all that is necessary to keep you warm, but if a rink is especially cold, consider dressing in layers. For example, a light jacket or sweater could be worn under a heavier jacket at first. Depending on how cold it is inside the ice rink, it may be a good idea to wear a knit hat over your head or stylish ear warmer and wrap a scarf around your neck.
Make sure the scarf is not too long or is tucked inside your shirt, sweater, or jacket. The reason for making the scarf is tucked is to make sure it stays on and doesn’t get in the way. People make a mistake by wearing jeans to an ice rink. It isn’t impossible to skate while wearing jeans, but since falls are highly likely, you want something that will dry quickly. Also, you want something that will not constrict your legs, so you can move more easily. You’ll want to be bundled up when you first step on the ice, but since you will sweat, you might get to a point that you want to just skate in short21
sleeves. Your hands can get very cold while skating, so it’s a good idea to wear warm gloves. Rental skates can cause bad blisters, so I would recommend wearing layers of socks. Be sure to bring extra socks with you to the ice rink. The socks you wear with ice skates should not be too thick since thick socks will be uncomfortable inside ice skates. Uncomfortable meaning the skates will be too tight. Be sure to bring your camera with you when you go ice skating. You’ll want to record the fun time you will have and remember the smiles and laughter that took place at the rink!
leave your legs too vulnerable if you fall. 2). Dresses without leggings While dresses are always fashionable, they fall in the same boat as the shorts when it comes to protecting your legs from falls. If you want to wear a cute dress out on the ice, it would be recommended to wear a good pair of fleece leggings. 3). Tight pants Now is not the time for tight skinny jeans ladies, sorry. Nor is it the time for any tight clothing overall. It restrains your movement and may prohibit you from catching your balance. 4). Thick socks Don’t Wear The important thing here is to have socks 1) Shorts that will not hinder how your skates fit; if It’s winter, why are you even considering your socks are too thick, it may make it diffiwearing shorts? It’s not fashionable this time cult to have the skates give you the correct 22 of year or weather appropriate. Shorts will support.
Basic outfit trendy It’s November and even though it’s chilly out
we still want to be warm and look charming at the same time. I love this time of year especially those days where the weather is just perfect. Sometimes we do get some sunshine and we can still wear a short skirt or a short dress. When wearing a skirt this winter wear it tights so you can be warm. Where I can wear jeans, a coat, some booties and still be warm enough. The colder months are coming up ahead and I’m here to help you on how to make an ordinary outfit stylish. The outfits that consist of all basic pieces and must-haves in your closet. For the mornings when getting out of bed just seems impossible, reach for an oversized sweater and some skinny jeans. It doesn’t get any more straightforward than a black-and-white outfit. A plain white tee is your best friend when you’re not feeling fashionably creative. For those chilly nights and you want to look a little bit dressier go for some high waisted pants, a turtleneck, closed toe heels and a belt to spice up the outfit. A denim jacket that types, rock it wearing a denim jacket. Enjoy a looks distressed is another one to have in your throwback to the 70’s, and slip into a pair of closet. Throw it on over a pretty dress or wrap flare jeans. To help lengthen your legs, were it around your waist for a cooler look. Having a pair of heels. For the complete look just ripped skinny jeans, in blue, black, white, and add any blouse, poncho, sweater. Wearing grey will make varying out outfit choices a lot a textured scarf, and ankle boots are perfect easier. Just in case there is a little breeze you additions to double denim. Throwing on a might want to throw in a lightweight coat. If cute dress, some over the knee boots with you’re in need of an effortless look, throw on warm socks and a long cozy cardigan are just some pumps and a chunky-knit sweater and the ticket! Wearing over the knee boots adds denim skirts. It’s a no-fail way to look stylish a little something to an outfit, they are also when pairing grey and black together. They are super comfy. They also help make your legs a must wear color combo. For another effort- look longer which is never a bad thing! I hope less day look, try an oversized cardigan with a these outfits help you spice up your basic short dress and some booties. A shift dress is styles for this winter season. Dress to impress another go-to dress style that fits most body 24 and still be warm enough.
How to: amp up an outfit You could just pair a cute top with jeans and boots, and call it a day, but why do that when there are so many easy clothing style tips out there to help you look better? What makes an outfit special is a way you style it. The accessories you add, the way you put different clothing pieces together. While you’re trying to figure out your own way of doing things, don’t be afraid to try the amazing style tips that are at your fingertips all over Pinterest, blogs, and fashion magazines. Any of these suggestions have the ability to transform a boring outfit into one that will catch everyone’s attention. A $10 skirt from Forever 21 can end up looking better than a $300 skirt from a designer. Pairing a simple sweater and a jean skirt, with the high waisted shoes just take things to a new level. You

have to figure out what you’re comfortable in, what you like best about yourself, and how to style your clothes in a unique way. Take an outfit to the next level just by adding a pop of color. To spice up an outfit just add edge, color, and metallic. You could just do about anything. Make a jean jacket a total basic. It is hard to imagine a place you can’t wear denim, especially dark wash or black denim. This season, however, denim jackets have skyrocketed into popularity. They are worn for casual events and thrown over party dresses and are seen as not only socially acceptable but on trend! As a result, everyone is on the hunt for the perfect jean jacket. Pair it with a white lace dress and boots to put a classic touch for a feminine look. All of these ideas are great, but I especially love the idea of a denim jacket with white jeans.
