Many of them are protesting against the war and many people using these war believe in peace very strongly. They are all about going with the flow and feeling the vibes of the music. The language they are using is also used in many of the songs that they listen to, which influences them to use it more. The late 60s represents a time of change when it comes to communication. This communication is influenced by issues with the war and lack of proper leadership in the presidency and government. The difference in the people using this language to communicate with each other is very different than those older than them communicate with one another.
