Air Interlacing Spin-Draw Process Heberlein® MultiJet-SP The yarn friendly, open/closed multi-thread jet with a high level of operating comfort The Heberlein® MultiJet-SP is the first multi-thread, open/closed interlacing jet for filament spinning. The compact design provides a perfect balanced air stream for optimum high interlacing performance in up to 32 yarn channels.

Air Interlacing Filaments in the yarn are interlaced using compressed air. The resulting interlace points provide the required yarn compaction for ultimate downstream performance. This results in higher processing speeds, improved package build and in a reduced filament and yarn break level.

Application Suitable for multifilament yarns made from polyester, polyamide and polypropylene in the whole textile yarn range. Product advantages Highest precision guarantees a constant interlacing performance and high positional uniformity. The rotational movement during opening and closing prevents entrapment of filament residue and dirt between jet and cover plate. The orange peel surface structure of the yarn contacting ceramic parts guarantees lowest friction. The single jet plate enables a narrow thread spacing of 4 mm for up to 32 yarn channels. Handling Integrated threading aid, for easy and quick threading of the yarns, increases the ease of operation.

The jet pack can be removed quickly from the base plate for easy servicing and cleaning.

The yarn guides can be exchanged readily by means of a clamping mechanism. The accessible yarn channels when the jet is open facilitate the visual checking and the intermediate cleaning of the machine.
