Spiral wrapping
Spiral wrapping solutions for artificial turf yarns are available either as an automatic inline process or the most flexible high-speed stand-alone solution. Whereas the inline system means less waste, fewer operators and no interim storage of the packages, the stand-alone variant is powered by automatic package change and multi-step precision winding, making this solution more flexible. Oerlikon Barmag’s spiral wrapping solutions are equipped with the WinOro automatic precision winder. WinOro features - Monofilament: 8 x 550 dtex up to 6 x 2,500 dtex - Wrapping yarn PES-DTY (draw-textured yarn) - Number of spiral wraps: 30 up to 55 per meter - Take-up speed: 70 up to 350 m/min An optional transport belt for the finished bobbins is available.

Texturing
Texturing solutions are available as inline or stand-alone versions combined with automatic winders or combined with spiral wrapping and automatic winders for maximum flexibility. Oerlikon Barmag’s texturing solutions are suitable for processing artificial turf monofilaments made from LLDPE, PP, PA6 and PET as well as for fibrillated LLDPE and PP artificial turf tape yarns. Both a high texturing degree for infill-replacement (thatch) and a low texturing degree for face yarns are possible.
