The CS 1 spindle bearing unit is an innovative and forward-looking bearing system which today belongs to the standard equipment of modern ringspinning machines.
At the spindle bearing CS 1 the neck bearing is separated from the footstep bearing thus forming two system units acting independently from each other. In this way the individual functions can be clearly assigned and optimised. The high precision of the neck bearing unit and a low bearing play guarantee maximum speeds and long service-life at smooth running behaviour. The compact bearing dimensions allow minimum wharve diameters resulting in energy-saving operation of the ringspinning machine. The design principle of the footstep bearing is a
striking innovative development: The elements centring springs and damping system which are symmetrically arranged to the footstep bearing make a complete matching of the footstep bearing to the movements of the spindle shaft possible. In this way the gliding and guiding behaviour gets optimised while achieving maximum vibration damping. Additional energy saving over the whole speed range as well as quiet running behaviour of the spindles are the advantages for the spinning mill.

The silent one. Fast and quiet, providing much potential for the future The CS 1 S spindle bearing unit offers a maximum performance within the CS 1 product family. This spindle bearing unit should be the number one choice for use up to the spinning limits or for special requirements for a low noise level of the ringspinning machine.
High-performance due to special design features The elastic neck bearing represents the special design feature of the CS 1 S spindle bearing unit which considerably reduces the bearing forces and thus is extending the service life of the bearing perceptibly. The elastic separation of the neck bearing from the spindle rail and the low bearing forces reduce the structureborne sound level to a minimum.
Ringspinning machines with CS 1 S spindle bearings, therefore, stand out for a particularly low noise level, thus improving the working conditions in the spinning mill. The design of the CS 1 S spindle bearings for speeds of up to 30.000 rpm additionally offers sufďŹ cient potential for further increase of traveller speeds.

CS 1 12 Spindle Bearing The power bearing
Ideal for coarse yarns and larger tube sizes Compared with the standard spindle bearing CS 1, the spindle bearing CS 1 12 has a larger distance between the neck and footstep bearing. The larger bearing distance perceptibly increases the centring and damping effect of the footstep bearing unit thus making the CS 1 12 the ideal spindle bearing for the more difďŹ cult spinning

conditions. Consequently the CS 1 12 is mainly used in short- and long-staple ringspinning machines for the production of coarse yarns (e.g. denim yarns) as well as for spinning with suppressed thread balloon and spinning with larger tube sizes.

Forms of supply
CS 1 spindle bearings are used in short and long staple ringspinning machines. They are also particularly suitable for applications in light ring twisters. The range of application includes tube lengths between 180 mm and 280 mm and the respective technologically possible maximum speeds.
The CS 1 spindle bearings are available in different versions, with hooks or with inner locking for the ringspinning machines of all leading manufacturers. The design of the thread flange depends on the specification of the customer. The equipment with additional elements, e.g. nuts, washers as well as brakes is optional. As a system supplier Texparts, of course, is also able to supply customerspecific spindle top parts and complete spindles.
