Saurer Epoca 05: Now additionally available as double-frame model. Saurer Epoca 05, the latest embroidery machine generation from Saurer, is based on experience with more than 3000 Saurer shuttle embroidery machines installed worldwide, of which over 600 are Epoca models. Striving for perfection combined with well-devised technology and farsighted innovation is manifested in a convincing manner in the new Epoca 05. The declared goal was and is to offer an embroidery machine which is unique in regard to performance, flexibility, quality and user-friendliness. The Epoca 05 fulfils all conditions, enabling it to be adapted to the most different customer and operational requirements. Epoca 05 2-1 the new doubleframe system Alongside the well-known version, the single frame machine, Saurer can now also offer a completely novel doubleframe model.
Two frames are driven, mechanically independent of each other, by one control unit. They embroi-der the same pattern but move completely independently from each other. The resulting system advantages are unique.
Distinctively higher performance Thanks to the completely revised drive concepts as well as the optimization of the frame the machine speed of the Epoca 05 could be increased by an average of 7%.

Saurer Epoca 05 2-1: New dimension in productivity. With the Epoca 05 2-1 you achieve at least 10% more production compared to mechani-cally coupled double-frame machines. No other embroidery system offers you so many advantages in relation to productivity and is economically as attractive as the new Epoca 05. By virtue of the innovative technology, the ergonomic construction, the high flexibility and the high performance, you gain strikingly improved productivity with the Epoca 05. With the Epoca 05 double-frame model 2-1, only one frame stops at each thread break, spanning-up, shuttle change etc. The second frame continues to produce and therefore guarantees a high efficiency. The high productivity is also favoured by the short thread cutting times of under 10 seconds as well as the extremely short acceleration time of 2 seconds on the maximum speed performance.
Sophisticated speed profiles optimize the overall performance, even for long stitches. Saurer Epoca 05: there is no reason not to earn more money!

FastSpan increases productivity and improves quality. FastSpan the new span-up technique The fixing of fabric has not fundamentally changed for 100 years. The increased productivity of today’s embroidery machines makes consideration of the down-times resulting from roll over and span-up just essential for overall success. Short design run-times caused by a low number of stitches, a more widely diversified design range as well as small order sizes have led to a situation in the embroidery process where rapid, intelligent solutions for span up, roll over and wind up are demanded. With the variable fabric roller system FastSpan, Saurer presents a comprehensive and well conceived solution to cover the requirements of customers.

Thanks to FastSpan, a free choice exists between all the usual fabric tensioning systems with one single fabric rolling: Longitudinal tension rod Roller cloth to sew on Fishbone Pull-through of fabric An unproblematic change of system is possible at any time. Thread cutting time inclusive repeat change in less than 10 seconds. The actual stitch performance determines your success The nominal machine speed only partly determines your actual production performance. The maximally achievable stitch performance depends in contrast on many influencing factors: Stitch length-dependent speed reduction Thread cutting frequency Thread break frequency Changeover times Embroidery materials (working capacity) Repeat Number of stitches per design Order size P attern design (boring devices, chemical embroidery, ribbons, emblems, allover etc.) Training of personnel Peak performance thanks to the most modern OFC technology (Optimized Function Control) One of the most important influencing factors is an extremely moderate stitch length-dependent speed reduction, in addition to a very dynamic reacceleration to the relevant optimal speed. Sophisticated speed profiles optimize the overall performance, even for very long stitches. The relevant acceleration time to reach the maximum speed frequency lies below 2 seconds. Experience shows that Epoca embroidery machines produce almost all designs with the maximal speed frequency. ActiFeed ActiFeed – the positive thread delivery system from Saurer. ActiFeed is the heart of all Saurer shuttle embroidery machines and guarantees you the best quality, maximal productivity and optimal running characteristics. ActiFeed reduces the thread tension compared to conventional thread delivery systems by approx. 70%. The result is a low thread break frequency with the processing of all yarns, even with high machine speeds. ActiFeed delivers the thread in stitch type, stitch length and yarn-dependent quantities, accurately and in optimal time. If you are processing various yarns within a design, each yarn can be allocated its own optimal parameter. A further big advantage of ActiFeed is the automatic compensation of the thread surplus which is created by the transfer from embroidering to boring and vice versa. The compensation hinders roublesome loops and thereby improves the embroidery quality. The simple yarn path of the ActiFeed system guarantees very short down times withthread breaks and yarn change.
TipControl with «RTPV» The handling is simple and self-explanatory. On the touchscreen monitor you can operate all machine functions, call up machine settings, yarn parameters and embroidery programs, change and store them, by using finger-tip.
On the new graphic real time progress view RTPV you can see at any time the current position in your embroidery pattern.
