PremiJET® Temco® LD7 PremiJET® for BCF spinning mills – preparation and pre-interlacing The PremiJET® is an economic and environment-friendly system for the application of spin-finish and for pre-interlacing. The PremiJET® has been developed, tested and realized in a cooperation project by the three competent and complementing one another cooperation partners - Oerlikon Textile Components GmbH, Hammelburg, Germany - Oerlikon Neumag, Neumünster, Germany - ITV, Institute for Textile Technology and Process Engineering, Denkendorf Germany. Supported and funded is this project by Germany’s Ministry of Education and Research.

The advantage of the PremiJET®, in opposition to the currently used open application systems, is the compact closed system, which includes the preparation device as well as the pre-interlacing device. The pre-interlacing takes places directly after the spin finish application. The pre-interlacing process causes a highly efficient and even application of the spin finish and a migration of the spin finish into the filament bundle. These are interlaced and get an interfilament cohesion. Thereby the spin finish can be highly reduced and a uniform application of the preparation is ensured. Because of the encapsulation the contamination of the spinning machine and of the room with spin finish as well as the contamination of the surrounding air with finest oil particles shall be avoided effectively, because the excess spin finish will be absorbed by the PremiJET® device and can be recirculated.
