Sparkle and texture Sequins are applied from ribbon to embroidery at a speed of up to 400 rpm. Round sequins, 4-5 mm in size, are most frequently used. With soutache, various ribbons, cords or special yarns are applied to the embroidery together with the embroidery yarn. The repeat can be selected without limitation. You can opt one day for an 8/4, and a 20/4 repeat the next – the machine is quick and easy to change over. Sequins and soutache can also be embroidered using the same needle; combination devices are available.

Speed from full integration With the Saurer sequins and soutache system, we offer you an instrument that is fully integrated in the machine control system. This integration enables the system to recognise the embroidery geometry of the design and thus to work extremely efficiently. This in turn means that you achieve higher speeds and therefore higher productivity in comparison with other systems. Our sequins and soutache system is a complete process from CAD through to the embroidered design.
