“Uncloggable” with intelligent fulling effect Only Impact FX cleans itself automatically as its airflow openings are “uncloggable”. At the heart of the Impact FX is a flexible compact apron that has been precisely perforated using laser technology. Because of the fulling effect at the apron’s deflection points, dirt particles and fibre fragments cannot accumulate in the holes. Unique – perfect aerodynamics With the Impact FX, air flows through the system in a straight line. There are no concealed bends, corners or edges. No corners, no dirt, no clogging – instead, simply a consistent compact quality. Nobody else in the market offers this benefit.

Why the compact power must never drop Textile professionals judge the quality of compact yarn by its low hairiness. To ensure this quality, an airflow is created during spinning to bind fibres into the yarn. The power of this airflow, i.e. the compact power, is crucial here. Only if the compact power is constant it is possible to continuously bind in the fibres. If the compact power drops, the spun yarn slowly and imperceptibly loses its compact characteristics. Impact FX protects you from compact power loss.

Independent vacuum system – regulated and individually adjustable With the separate Impact FX vacuum unit you always have full compact power available. You can set the appropriate compact vacuum centrally at the EasySpin touchscreen – an uncompromisingly precise solution for your raw materials and your desired yarn characteristics. The sensor control loop keeps the compact power precisely at the selected setpoint. Constant compact power all along the line Even with 1,680 spindles, the centre suction unit guarantees constant compacting vacuum and therefore constant yarn quality from spindle to spindle.

This intelligent system produces constant compact quality automatically – metre after metre, spindle after spindle, lot after lot. No risk of confusion, plus reduced logistics Machine elements do not have to be adjusted along the machine. Yarn break suction tubes with identical diameters, as well as the standard components of the intelligent Impact FX vacuum system for all machine lengths, reduce logistics and personnel input and, in particular, the risk of confusion.

Flexibility: time-saving central settings – no need to switch hardware The vacuum setting for compacting is selected centrally on the EasySpin touchscreen. The vacuum setting can be predefined and is permanently monitored by the machine control unit, ensuring rapid lot changes, reproducibility and flexibility.

Adjustable compacting – for greater productivity and savings on raw materials With Impact FX you can select the overfeed setting centrally and specify the yarn character precisely. This raises the spinning limit for each raw material and allows better utilisation of the fibre substance. Using the same raw material, you can achieve higher spindle speeds or reduce the yarn twist in comparison to ring spinning. This enables you to increase your productivity. Even cotton qualities with reduced noil component and higher short fibre component give good yarn values – with significant raw material savings. Depending on the system, Impact FX is able to process short fibres extremely well. You can also always respond quickly to raw material fluctuations with Impact FX.

Menu-driven user interface The EasySpin touchscreen offers self-explanatory and clear user control of the Impact FX with lots of pictures and pictograms and a wide choice of languages. The proven EasySpin functionality with ToolTips for the individual functions makes compact yarn production incredibly easy.

Quality that pays off

Maximum range of application from any raw material Impact FX lets you get the best out of any raw material. The compacting zone and compact vacuum can be adjusted precisely to the specific “compacting willingness” of different raw materials and fibres. The settings are centrally managed here via the EasySpin touchscreen. All yarn counts from denim to fine yarn are possible. With Impact FX, you have complete freedom in terms of yarn characteristics. If, for instance, increased covering power and a somewhat fuller article is required for a particular application, the hairiness can be increased accordingly. Thanks to the self-cleaning design of the Impact FX, the desired yarn character is kept absolutely constant at all times without additional inspections and cleaning cycles.

Higher productivity and cost benefits in downstream processing The significantly lower hairiness, high tenacity and elongation of the Impact FX yarn as well as its automatically assured quality enable higher insertion speeds in the weaving mill. Additional process steps, e.g. sizing, waxing and singeing, are often no longer necessary. Needle wear in knitting processes is significantly reduced. Increased quality in the finished article The benefits of the Impact FX are shown in the higher lustre and sharper colour contrasts in the fabric. Well-defined colour areas and, in particular, the reduced pilling tendency are important for knits.
