The thing to remember with echo is that if you can hear it you are not the one causing it. If you hear your voice echoing it means that the sound from your friends speaker is being picked up by their microphone and sent back to you. If you’re using external or built in speakers try lowering the volume and moving the microphone as far away from them as you can. If there’s less than 20cm between your microphone and speakers the echo might be quite strong. Finally, using Skype certified headsets or headphones is an easy way to fix the problem for good.
