Connect with your classmates and meet new colleagues at this premiere event designed especially for the new practitioner. The event features an open bar and appetizers, perfect for an after-dinner stop. Denmark on High is a Euro-style Cocktail Bistro located on the 2nd floor of 463 North High Street, right across the street from the main doors of the Columbus Convention Center. Free for new dentists and their spouses, but you must register to attend.

All dentists in practice 10 years or less, dental residents and dental students are invited to watch Triple A Club the Columbus Clippers play the Omaha Storm Chasers at Huntington Park. Connect with new colleagues that represent the future of dentistry, while watching the future stars of the Cleveland Guardians and Kansas City Royals Major League Baseball (MLB) franchises. Free for new dentists, dental residents, dental students, and one guest, but you must register to attend.

Exactly what you need for tackling CE classes and a trek through the Exhibit Hall! Start your day with an invigorating Yoga session led by one of Bend’s instructors. Bring a mat if you have one. A very limited number of mats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The class is free, but registration is required. Those in attendance will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card.

Interested in selling or buying a dental practice? Looking for an opportunity to become an associate or do you need to hire an associate? Join us for a unique event organized by the ODA Subcouncil on New Dentists, designed to help member dentists, dental residents and dental students who are looking for a job, casually match up with member dentists who are preparing for a practice transition or looking to expand their practice. Formerly known as the MATCH program, Career Connections registrants will be contacted by the ODA prior to the event to provide additional information that will enhance their experience in making connections. No outside companies, vendors or office staff members are permitted to participate, and attendees are not required or guaranteed to make a connection at the event. Career Connections is free, but registration is required. Lunch will be served.

Callahan Celebration of Excellence Honoring

Bring your spouse and staff and join the celebration to honor Dr. Lori Fitzgerald and the 2023 Callahan Memorial Award Recipient, Dr. James L. Vaden, along with your outstanding colleagues at the Callahan Celebration of Excellence. The night starts off with an open bar reception at 6:30 p.m., and the event includes the presentation of the Callahan Memorial Award and the ODA Awards of Excellence. Established in 1920, the Callahan Award is an international honor named for Dr. John Ross Callahan that recognizes outstanding contributions to dentistry. The ODA Awards of Excellence recognize Ohio dentists and others who have made exemplary efforts on behalf of the profession. The awards include the presentation of the ODA's highest honor, the Joseph P. Crowley Distinguished Dentist Award. Black-tie optional, the cost also includes VIP entrance and two drink tickets to The Bash!
