OME house rules

Letter from the editor Issue No. 5 is here, and we have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming months. OME has TWO new staff members, Michael Ferraro and Isaac Bickmore. We three are working together to make next year’s marathon concert even bigger and better than this year‘s. Oh. And we’re grant applyin’ and and summer camp designin’ too. OME would also like to give a hearty welcome to Jennifer Gunther, who’s helping out with editing and design. If you would like to join the team, email admin@ohmyears.com. We want to start reviews soon, so we’ll need writers to attend and review concerts! Elizabeth Kennedy Bayer

The 2015 marathon concert at The Trunk Space was incredible thanks to our talented performers. Flip to page 4 to re-live the moment, and view our call for 2016 performers on page 5.

Thanks to our 2015 marathon sponsors: We think the best way to show appreciation to all of the great local businesses that supported this year’s marathon would be to spend the day with them. Here’s how you can do just that: Hop on a Gr:D bike and grab a quick breakfast at Rollover! Doughnuts (We won’t judge if you think the middle of the afternoon is breakfast time). Or cruise to Sit ... Stay: Hot Dogs and Sausage for a bite and share a picture of your dog with the friendly crew. Or make a late-night ride to Grand Avenue Pizza Company after you witness another spectacle of local talent at your new favorite venue, The Trunk Space. Feel free to repeat.

How convenient is it that our bike share sponsor has several stations within walking distance of our delicious food sponsors?! Find Gr:D on Grand Avenue, Vernon Avenue in midtown and multiple locations downtown.
