A: All schools are within walking distance. Q: What is your favourite spot to enjoy morning coffee? A: The granite countertop island in the kitchen. Q: Where do you spend most of your time in the home? A: We spend a lot of time in the summer enjoying the patio and barbecuing. During the winter, we love to turn on the gas fireplace and enjoy a movie or spend time reading in the living room. We also love the alcove at the top of the stairs where the computer is. Q: What are your neighbours like? A: The neighbours are great! Everyone is polite and friendly and willing to give you a hand if you need anything. The bare land strata might make some hesitate, but for our strata there is not much to be concerned about. It just covers the road, street light and one fence. It takes minimal maintenance and the majority of the strata fee goes to snow removal in winter. Everyone on the strata gets along and as there are just 6 households we all know each others' names and haven't had issues. They are all very easy going and respectful.

Seller Q & A Living at #1, 3535 Wood Avenue Q: How busy is your street? Do you hear much traffic noise? A: The street is bare land strata, so it is only used by the residents of the 6 houses. Wood Avenue can be busy at times, but the noise from it isn't really noticed. Q: What do you like most about living in your area? A: I like that the area is central to everything. It doesn't take long to walk into town if you want to go to the pub or just feel like getting out. It's also a great spot to partake in the Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE), it being only a few minutes walk away. Q: Are there hiking/biking/riding trails nearby? Within walking distance? A: The City of Armstrong has posted signs for the trails through town and it takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk to them. For hiking, Rose Swanson Mountain trail is only a 10 minute drive away, and the hike offers an amazing view of the valley, where you can easily see into Vernon. Q: Are there local events you attend in town or nearby? A: The main festival that we attend is the Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE). We submit contest entries to get discounted 5 day tickets. This makes it easy to come and go at the event as we please, and it's a great way to meet up with friends and enjoy things like the rodeo. Another favourite event of ours is the Smash-up Derby at the fair grounds, which takes place every October. It's great to go and have a laugh watching it. The best part about our location and those events is that we never have to worry about parking!
