Annual Meeting Postponed Until Further Notice

OEC's board of trustees and senior leadership elected to postpone the 2021 Annual Meeting due to the ongoing local mandates and guidelines following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Originally scheduled for Aug. 13, the annual event draws 6,000-7,500 members and their family members for a night of barbecue, entertainment, prizes and more.

"We were really hoping to be able to host our Annual Meeting this year," said CEO Patrick Grace.

Unfortunately, an event of this magnitude requires decisions to be made months in advance, and we just weren't able to confirm a safe environment for 6,000-plus to meet.

Like last year, co-ops around the country are faced with this same decision. [5506402301]

"It was a tough decision, but we want to be sure when we do meet again, that we can fully celebrate with our members," Grace continued. "We didn't feel like this was the year we could accomplish that, so we will hope for a full return of our Annual Meeting in 2022."
