The Monthly Cannabis Review | FloGrown Genetics

Back on the hunt, and it is “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” Throughout the sharp Winter air, there is an abundance of Holiday Cheer. The lights will be twinkling and the snow will be glistening. Another Holiday season brings another year's end. Out with the old and in with the new as they say. So, for the December Review Pick, I knew I had to end the year with something brand new. With flowers this outstanding and hash rosin that is exceptionally spectacular, this was an easy choice. Not to mention the powerhouse genetics these Cultivators bring to the table. Their own unique genetic line includes such strains as Nehruvian OG, NYC Bagel, Ruckus OG, Galenti, Nova Cane, their amazing Rosin strain Nameless Hoe and many many more. FloGrown Genetics OK may just now be making their debut on a fine Oklahoma dispensary top shelf near you, but they are no newbies to cultivating some amazing flowers, making their own outstanding hash rosin, and much more. This husband-and-wife power couple literally does it all. They are the growers, processors, trimmers, and any other little job in between. The Chronic got a chance to ask FloGrown Genetics a few questions to get to know a little bit more about the people behind this impressive Genetics Brand.

The Chronic: How long have you been using/growing/processing cannabis?

>>FloGrown Genetics: Well, I'm 36 now and he's 43 so well over 25 years each. My Husband, however, has been growing since he was 12. He's completely self-taught and He set up outdoor and indoor grows as early as 14 years old. I didn't start dabbling into growing until I was 19. Processing was fairly newer to us both, I'd say we both have gotten really into processing over the past 5 years with Ed processing as far back as 15 years ago. We're blessed to be able to do what we love all day every day.

The Chronic: How large is your team and who does it include?

>>FloGrown Genetics: We're a small Mom and Pop operation. It's just us 2 running it all. We do everything from the ground up. We purchased 15 acres and have been slowly building out everything, including building the fence, the grow, electrical, plumbing, etc.

The Chronic: New to Oklahoma, what do your genetic line and your flower/concentrates bring to the market that sets you apart from the herd?

>>FloGrown Genetics: We're bringing a lot of new genetics and strains that aren't commonly found here in Oklahoma. We are cultivating a lot of rare breeds that were never released and no one else has. We are proud to be bringing cannabis-derived CBD and ratio products in all forms. We take pride in what we do and can't wait for Oklahoma to try our best from seed to banger!

The Chronic: - What does the future hold for FloGrown Genetics in Oklahoma?

>>FloGrown Genetics: The goal is to make Flogrown Genetics a household name in every Oklahoma home. We aim to not only scale to a point where we're involved throughout the cannabis industry but truly to a point where we can give back to the community through cannabis education programs. We want people to say "wow this is the best flower, rosin, etc.. I've never tried!" But then we also want to empower them by educating them on it including its medical benefits, how to grow it, process it, and anything else they want to learn.

We also want to be able to give back to the community to help the community in whatever way we can- helping first responders, veterans, and all populations in need to create a better community overall. We vow to continue to work hard to create more plant magic that meets the needs of everyone even the non-believers!

FloGrown Genetics is excited to continue to release new breeds that aren't just gorgeous or tasty but truly beneficial to its consumers. It's about igniting the mind, body, and soul. For 2023, we have several new unreleased genetics that will please all the senses, so stay tuned @flogrown_seed_co for all future drops!
