On behalf of the Oklahoma Beef Council, welcome to Oklahoma City! There are too many restaurants to mention so we highlighted some local favorites. Most are 10-20 minutes from the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds. We hope you will take the time to try local Oklahoma City restaurants while you are in town because we have wonderful dining options no matter the cuisine or the price point.

Stockyards District
Home to a number of shops specializing in all things western, you can outfit an entire ranch (cattle included) or just find a new pair of boots and enjoy a great steak in Stockyards City. CATTLEMEN’S STEAKHOUSE - The oldest continually-operating restaurant in Oklahoma City and a nationally-known Stockyards City staple, Cattlemen’s Steakhouse has been visited by Presidents, movie stars, pro athletes and music icons, among others. Plaza District
If you’re the sort that likes to check out the hip and happening, you’ll find it in the Plaza District; an enclave of locally-owned shops, neighborhood bars, quirky galleries and fun-and-funky restaurants. It’s a short 10-minute drive from the fairgrounds. Easy parking is available at 1633 NW 15th St. EMPIRE SLICE HOUSE - Serving New York Style pies and pizza by the slice with late night dining and rad jams all day. MEXICAN RADIO - Find a taco for everyone at the Plaza District’s taco joint, Mexican Radio. Uptown 23rd District
Uptown is home to one of the latest neighborhood revitalizations in OKC. Anchored by the historic Tower Theatre, you’ll find great locally-owned restaurants and bars, as well as fun boutiques. BIG TRUCK TACOS - Combining premium ingredients with a chef’s vision of Mexican food has created a restaurant that is known the world over. This district is your shopping and dining getaway to discovering local dives on Western Avenue to chic shops along Classen Curve. Paseo District
The Paseo is home to over 20 galleries and more than 80 vibrant artists all within walking distance of each other on the curved, two-block street that has maintained its Spanish revival architecture with its original stucco buildings and clay roof tiles. Intermixed with the galleries are restaurants, art schools, boutiques and other businesses. FRIDA’S SOUTHWEST - Located in Oklahoma City’s Paseo Arts District, FRIDA Southwest is inspired by the cuisine of Oklahoma, Santa Fe and northern Mexico in an architecturally unique, beautifully designed setting. Restaurants on Lake Hefner
If you enjoy dining waterside, then visit the restaurants on Lake Hefner. It’s 15 minutes north of the fairgrounds. There is a restaurant for every taste and open parking for this destination. Automobile Alley
Automobile Alley is a small, hip neighborhood known for its 1920s brick buildings adorned with vintage neon signs, remnants of the area’s Model T–era car dealerships. Mid-Town District
Oklahoma City’s cozy Midtown community is located just east of the fairgrounds.
