UN Global Compact The Global Compact is the UN’s initiative for cooperation with the business community in sustainable development. The letter below was sent to the then UN Secretary-General, H.E. Ban Ki-moon and confirms that the Olav Thon Group is a participant in the Global Compact initiative and that the group promises to integrate the ten basic principles into its strategy and daily operations. The next letter is a confirmation that the Olav Thon Group is still a Signatory in the UN Global Compact initiative and that the group’s work will be presented in an annual report (Communication on Progress).
