OLIVE OIL THROUGH CHILDREN’S EYES

For me, olive oil is the main ingredient in happiness! Just put a drizzle of it in the salad and the kids won’t be able to stop eating it, or else on bread for a killer snack. Sometimes I come up with questions, such as “If there was no such thing as olive oil, how would we manage to cook healthy, tasty food?” My favourite dish is the yoghurt cake my mother makes me on my birthday. Did you know it’s made with olive oil? I only found out today, when I saw it being baked for my birthday, which is tomorrow. Happy olive oil to everyone!

Olive oil is a liquid that can be used to dress bread with a pinch of salt and a lettuce leaf. I made a discovery – I had no idea that you can put olive oil into cake to make it a little softer.

My dad makes a delicious sauce with olive oil, and I wish I could have just that sauce instead of meat. In fact, I remember one day when Dad had made chicken with that delicious sauce, just for himself, and I cleaned up every single drop of that lovely sauce when he’d finished his meal.
