(Fig.57) (Fig.58) In 2011 milk processing stopped and the site became vacant once again. Its presence in the city remained with the chimney soaring above the skyline to the west. It has remained in intermittent use as host to arts and other city events. The site was afforded heritage protection in 2005 when the chimney and main mill were scheduled. The description identified the broader significance of the site while offering no explicit curtilage.
