EXCLUSIVE MARKET INSIGHTS FROM OUR TEAM
2019 started with some of the lowest inventory levels for single family homes Truckee has seen for quite some time. Record amounts of snowfall in February highly impacted property owners’ abilities to list their homes. Buyers had challenges touring what few homes were available to see. We saw some market fluctuation from Quarter 1 to Quarter 2 due to this. Summer met us with increased inventory, lots of buyers and steadily increasing average sale prices. Truckee’s average list-to-sale price discount remained in the 98% range and marketing time continued to be around 43 days on average, which is similar to 2017 and 2018 and the lowest marketing times we’ve seen since pre2005.
