Unity Prayer Watch – This Wednesday, January 17th The Unity Prayer Watch is a continuous prayer chain in which each Moravian Church throughout the world is assigned a particular time to be in prayer for the needs of the Moravian Church. Olivet has been assigned this Wednesday, January 17th from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The clipboard with 15-minute time segments is in the Narthex. Senior Friends – This Wednesday, January 17th The Senior Friends will “Meet, Greet and Eat” at 10:30 AM this Wednesday, January 17th. Please sign up on the Senior Friends Bulletin Board, so we’ll know how many to prepare lunch for. Wax Removal – This Thursday, January 18th This Thursday, January 18th, at 6:30 PM, the Friends’ Circle will be removing the wax in the Sanctuary. All ladies of the church are invited to come help. Bring your iron, extension cords and brown paper bags. If you have any questions, please contact Angela Golden, 336.924.1460. Newsletter Deadline – This Friday, January 19th If you have information that needs to be included in the February issue of The Olivet Reporter please have it in the church office no later than this Friday, January 19th. Please type your information in Arial, 10 font. If your information is not on time, it will be added to the next month’s newsletter. Pick Up 2018 Contribution Envelopes Please pick up your 2018 Contribution Envelopes that are on the table across from the members’ mailboxes.


Men’s Breakfast – Next Sunday, January 21st The Men’s Breakfast will be next Sunday, January 21st at 8:30 AM. All men of the church and any guests are welcome to attend. Friends’ Circle – Thursday, January 25th Friends’ Circle will meet for dinner on Thursday, January 25th, at 6:00 PM at Cities Restaurant, 2438 S. Stratford Rd. Please let Kathy Rights know if you can attend. Missions – Give-A-Kid-A-Coat – Through Sunday, February 4th We will be collecting gently used coats of all sizes for children in need through Sunday, February 4th. There will be a marked box near the Fellowship Hall for you to place coats. A Cleaner World Stores will clean, refurbish and make the coats available through The Salvation Army. 2018 Flower Calendar You can sign up to remember or honor a special person(s) on our Flower Calendar that is located across from the church office.
