Our congregation extends its Christian love and sympathy to Mike Wrege and his family upon the death of his stepfather, John Thomas Myatt, who died on Sunday, December 24th, and to Michelle Shore and her family upon the death of her father, David Wayne Shore, who died on Wednesday, December 27th. Chancel Flowers The flowers in the sanctuary are given to the glory of God and in loving memory of Lois Conrad by her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Women’s Bible Study – This Tuesday, January 9th Our next Women’s Bible Study will be this Tuesday, January 9th at 7:00 PM in the Church Parlor. We will be discussing the chapter on Bathsheba. Hope to see many of our ladies then! Unity Prayer Watch – Wednesday, January 17th The Unity Prayer Watch is a continuous prayer chain in which each Moravian Church throughout the world is assigned a particular time to be in prayer for the needs of the Moravian Church. Olivet has been assigned Wednesday, January 17th from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The clipboard with 15-minute time segments is in the Narthex. Senior Friends – Wednesday, January 17th The Senior Friends will “Meet, Greet and Eat” at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 17th. Please sign up on the Senior Friends Bulletin Board, so we’ll know how many to prepare lunch for. Pick Up 2018 Contribution Envelopes Please pick up your 2018 Contribution Envelopes that are on the table across from the members’ mailboxes. Men’s Breakfast – January 21st The Men’s Breakfast will be Sunday, January 21st at 8:30 AM. All men of the church and any guests are welcome to attend. Friends’ Circle – Thursday, January 25th Friends’ Circle will meet for dinner on Thursday, January 25th, at 6:00 PM at Cities Restaurant, 2438 S. Stratford Rd. Please let Kathy Rights know if you can attend. Missions – Give-A-Kid-A-Coat – Through Sunday, February4th We will be collecting gently used coats of all sizes for children in need through Sunday, February 4th. There will be a marked box near the Fellowship Hall for you to place coats. A Cleaner World Stores will, clean, refurbish and make the coats available through The Salvation Army. 2018 Flower Calendar You can sign up to remember or honor a special person(s) on our Flower Calendar that is located across from the church office. January 14th and 28th are upcoming available dates.
