Don

The Lockwoods

Don and Kathy plus their 2 high-school aged daughters have decided to pack up and relocate to north loop area of Chicago into a 5 bed, 4.5 bath condo with 2 levels.

Kathy is a school teacher and Don is a high-end culinary chef. Their 2 daughters both play piano and enjoy music.

The Lockwoods want a unique space with elements inspired by Chicago’s famous architecture mixed with a modern 1920’s bungalow feel.

Located just next to the Magniﬁcent Mile, the area’s premier commercial district, this high rise offers incredible views of Lake Michigan, spacious bedrooms for the entire family, and optimal hosting space.

The Roaring ‘20s

Speakeasys, opulent gold, feathers, and fortune. All of these adjectives describe what someone might think of when they hear “the roaring ‘20s”.

In our design we wanted to capture Kathy and Don’s love for the excess of this style, but also to keep practicality, timelessness, and personality in mind.

Aspects they are fond of are bold colors, unique selections, and statement art pieces
