Arrival Friday afternoon/evening to stay in a pre-civil war plantation house in Hampton County, SC, on a 500-acre hunting preserve on the black water swamps of the Salkahatchie River. You may hunt from a stand or walking, day or night, choose your preference. The pigs are feral hogs, as well as a cross with Russian Boar, and all live in the open swamp and planted pine. Day 2: The Longwood Medical Area A day exploring cutting edge biomedical research at Harvard Medical School. Then let‟s explore what it is truly like to work in a laboratory at HMS. Item 8 Hand-made Skin-on-frame 17-foot kayak with Hand-made cedar paddle
The durable design and construction of this skin-on-frame kayak, named Angerut Nungusuitock (Inuit translation for Eternal Promise), derives from classic West Greenland and Inuit roots. Natives today construct their kayaks in a similar manner. The wood frame is tung-oil treated Douglas Fir. All joints are either lashed with an artificial sinew or pegged to fit. There are no mechanical fasteners used in the construction. The coaming is laminated Northern Ash. The kayak is 17 feet long and will support a passenger and equipment weighing 300 lbs. with a freeboard of 5 inches. This kayak is ocean-tested, extremely fast, rolls very well if rolling is desired, tracks very well, and weighs only 30 pounds. The "skin" is ballistic nylon coated with a completely waterproof 2-part polyurethane.The
paddle is handmade from cedar.

All you will have to do is strap your skis on just outside your door and you are off for a day‟s fun, as the condominium is situated next to the centrally located beginner ski slope „Fanny Hill.‟ Alternatively, travel down to just below the village to enjoy cross-country skiing. In the summer, this resort is great for biking, hiking, and horseback riding. Snowmass Village‟s shops, restaurants, and nightlife serve a great range of interests. Just ten miles away, Aspen in the summer allows the traveler to enjoy annual festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival. This condo has TWO BEDROOMS, a MURPHY BED, a FOLDOUT SOFA, and three baths.
