Welcome! Hello Division 1! My name is Olivia Heng and I am your 2021-2022 Lieutenant Governor :D I am a rising senior at Ocean City High School and am passionate about aiding my community through volunteerism + Key Club! As LTG, I am responsible for supporting the Key Clubs within Division 1 and will act as a liaison between each club and the NJ District along with doing everything in my power to make this service year fun, memorable, and amazing! Can't wait to meet you all soon!

Fall RTCs The Regional Training Conferences are here: Fall edition! If you missed the Spring RTCs, no worries! The District Board will be going over SO MUCH informational content to prepare you for the rest of the service year. This event will be on September 18th and 19th, so make sure to mark your calendars :D I highly recommend this to ALL students and advisors, even if they aren't Key Clubbers (yet)! Please invite friends and siblings, registration info to come soon.
Member Representatives Want to get more involved in Key Club? Apply to be a Member Rep today! Selected Key Clubbers statewide have the opportunity to apply to be a member representative to a district committee and work closely with district officials! Some responsibilities include assisting committees with decisions, completing committee work and tasks assigned by committee Chairs and Secretaries, attending all events designated by the committee, and more. This is an amazing chance to learn more about Key Club and get an inside look at the interworkings of the district :D

OTCs Thank you to the officers of Millville Senior High School, Ocean City, and Middle Township High School for attending their Officer Training Conferences, we are on the way towards a 100% trained division! These training sessions are very important for new officers so if you have not been trained yet, please keep an eye out for an email from me :D The following page highlights some of our outstanding Division 1 officers!

GLC The Global Leadership Certificate Program is a FREE course that Key Club International is providing to all Key Clubbers! This program teaches around the three core values of fellowship, leadership, and service with courses such as "Voting: Our civic responsibility," "Strategic vs. tactical leadership," and "Passions in practice"! In addition, after completing the course, you will be honored on the KCI website!

Structure The New Jersey District of Key Club is currently assessing the structure of our divisions in order to be fair and equal in all aspects for upcoming service years. We would love to have your input as to how we can help strengthen your division and what qualities your Key Club has! This is open to all club members, officers, and advisors. Event Spotlight: If your club hosts a successful event, please contact me and I will share your accomplishments with the division! I encourage event collaborations between clubs, if you need help feel free to ask me!
Birthday Shoutouts: A fun aspect I would like to include are Birthday Shoutouts! Please fill out and share the Google Form HERE to have your birthday be celebrated with us!
Upcoming Events Divisional Council Meeting (DCM)
Fall Rally
We will be having our first DCM in the coming weeks! Please stay updated and attend, your voice matters!
The 2021 Fall Rally is ON! This event is the largest gathering of Key Clubbers in the state, so be sure to mark your calenders! Registration info coming soon.
Fall RTCs
Key Leader
We will be hosting Fall RTCs on September 18th and 19th! Attend workshops, meet the District Board, and become a better Key Clubber!
This event will be a weekend full of fantastic speakers, educational workshops, and, of course, the chance to meet new Key Clubbers! Join us on November 12 - 14!

Our Advocacy Focus for this service year is "Mental Health Awareness," so be sure to check out our flyers and posts from our Advocacy committee!
As your LTG, I would LOVE to attend your club meetings! Please contact me with info and I will do my best to attend and introduce myself to the club :)
District Project
Elections
The 2021 District Project is "Keeping The Garden State Green!" We must take responsibilty to protect the environment through clean-ups, spreading awareness, etc.
If your club has not had elections yet, please do so ASAP! It is imperative that I receive the new officer's information. Please contact me w/ concerns.
