This is a marketing poster for one of the most famous food chains; McDonald’s. The purpose of this photo is because it portrays one of the most popular meals meaning people will automatically know what the poster is of. You will find this picture in many newspapers because they are promoting their company to the world and placing them in newspapers is a good way to promote the company as many people read newspapers. The image is directly in the centre, so it is the rest thing the audience will see. The concept of having a petrol pump pouring drink into a cup is because of the motto ‘Fuel up...feel good’ People may also interpenetrate this as a way of saying coke is ‘poisonous and dangerous’ because that is exactly what petrol is described as. As this is one of the most famous restaurants’ in the world, it isn’t hard for them to sell their product. The majority of the audience goes to McDonalds, so seeing this poster would make them want to go. This is how you know they are increasing sells. The font of the writing is quite big, and the colour matches the colour scheme of the whole poster. It is eye catching to the audience. The logo of McDonalds is another thing that stands out as it is scattered around the poster. They are promoting the product as much as

possible, so the audience is aware of what the product is. The audience will know straight away that this is a Nike advert because of the famous Nike tick in the top right corner with Nike written underneath it. It is very noticeable, and I believe that they have made sure it is, so people can see it straight away. This will help them recognise the company straight away. The purpose of using this photo is because it is one of the trainers that Nike is trying to sell to the audience. The photo has been placed at the bottom however, it is not overshadowed by the large text that is above it because the audience care more about the product then the writing. At the time this poster was made, this particular trainer was really popular which will make the audience want to buy the product as it is new. This is helping the company sell their product because Nike is such a popular company and people are guaranteed to buy this product. They have promoted their product in a way which they know people will go and buy it. Nike is a big trend in fashion, so they know people would want to buy their trainer’s. The big, bold font saying, ‘have you hugged your foot today?’ is really eye catching to the audience and it is right in the middle of the poster. I believe that the
