LITERALLY SPLIT 16 MARCH - 02 APRIL Olsen Annexe presents 'Literally Split', a group presentation of recent and never-before-seen works on paper and canvas. The exhibition takes monochromatic art making as its point of departure and celebrates traditional drafting as well as its contemporary interpretations in painting and printmaking. Photography, though notable absent from the catalogue, informed the logic of the exhibition and offered Ansel Adams' zoning method as a means to ensure a fully-realised array of black and white offerings.
