THE PURE WATER SAGA
For sometimes now there has been a lot of struggling in getting pure water sachet on campus as owned to the short comings in supplies by the Unilag water company. No protest yet but with the looks of things there might be soon if it still persists as students are already reacting to buying #50 table water when you simply can get ten sachet of it at the same price instead. #funny “…Buy plastic get water for free” that what the situation is called on campus. I hope the authority gets to address this as soon and fast because it is looking like extortion and very unfair on the students plus economy is not smiling too. E joh we know we too dey form for campus but no be on top pure water sachet matter. Make una beko onu try serve all our sellers plenty make we see buy abi what is the need to take garri worth #20, #20 groundnut and buy #50 water …no be swear be that??? - Captain fwesh

e was the prime minister for 31 years and was widely respected as the architect of Singapore’s prosperity. Lee’s son, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in a statement that he is “deeply grieved to announce the passing of Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the founding Prime Minister of Singapore”.
in 1965 because it was seen as a hopeless nation. Today, Singapore is a success story. Although, then he was criticized for his iron grip on power. But today, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said he was deeply saddened, and US President Barack Obama described him as a “giant of history”.
The Cambridge-educated lawyer led Singapore through merger with, and then separation from, Malaysia. Speaking after the split in 1965, he had pledged to build a meritocratic, multi-racial nation. Tiny, poor Singapore - with no natural resources - needed a new economic model. “We knew that if we were just like our neighbors, we would die,” Mr Lee told the New York Times in 2007. “We had to produce something which is different and better than what they have.” And this he had definitely achieved after transforming Singapore which was driven out of its merger with Malaysia
The Chinese foreign ministry called him “a uniquely influential statesman in Asia”. A state funeral will be held on 29 March, after a week of mourning. In an emotional televised address, his son Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong paid tribute to him. “He fought for our independence, built a nation where there was none, and made us proud to be Singaporeans. We won’t see another man like him.” “Mr Lee passed away peacefully at the Singapore General Hospital today at 3.18 am,” the statement said.

final year student of Philosophy, Sapara, was shot by unknown gunmen in the University of Lagos before he was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, IdiAraba where he was confirmed dead. According to some witnesses of the shooting, the possible malefactors escaped from the scene by car seen on the campus several hours before the attack. The shooting provoked panic and stampede as students were hurriedly leaving the building. The Dean of Students’ Affairs of the University, Prof. Olukayode Amund, confirmed the incident, assuring that the security operatives exert every effort to unravel the culprits and bring them to justice. He also expressed his assumption of pos-
sible cultist attack as such kinds of operation are typical of them. He said, “The events surrounding the incident are still unknown and by the time we conclude our investigation, the university authorities will take the necessary and appropriate action.”

Do you ever believe in Woju song? Personally I believe in all my songs, but it was more of my CEO who was more adamant that woju was going next, I felt like naaa …. naaaa but Emperor Geezy was like “no this is going next” and here we are today. I must commend him ‘cos he has taste for sound as well. Why woju and what’s the inspiration Behind it? W e l l W O J U w a s Basically inspired by everyday experience of people and what transpires at different event centers like parties, clubs and what have you. For me I do music that relate with everyday people ...what we do , go through and how we express ourselves in our daily lives . For some weeks now, Woju has been on number 1 on MTV Base and Itunes, how do you feel about this? Firstly am grateful to God, hmmmm Emperor Gezzzy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… I
feel elated but i need to put more energy still, and attain greater heights. Also i owe it to all my fans and everybody that have supported me this far. What inspired you for choosing Davido and Tiwa Savage remix? Well getting Tiwa savage and Davido to me on the remix is a no brainer, this are basically the biggest exports in Africa. Tiwa is the queen of Africa sound while Davido has shown that he’s one of Africa’s superstars while Woju is the biggest song as we speak in the continent. There’s success and talent primary inspired there presence of the track and am happy they both blessed the track. Don’t forget this is the first they are both on a track together. How do you feel seeing various artistes doing woju cover? Yeah it’s a good feeling and I’m highly grateful to God first of all ... I mean we have loads of covers and versions. I mean they all have gotten some level of popularity for it. So I feel blessed that other people have been blessed as well. Again I wanna say a big shout to emperor GEEZY the CEO of GWORLDWIDE ENT. Your more than a CEO. Am very grateful for the platform. My management Raging bull every Dj, oap . Everyone that have supported the movement God bless you. Big ups emperor geezy Na so !!!!!

CEO of the project, Adedayo Saula-Onalaja said “The LASSED-Somolu 2015 event is borne out of the need to have a platform where the people of Somolu can engage
their leaders to be in an interactive session where issues affecting the people of the community can be discussed and solutions proffered. This we believe will go a long way in helping the people to make an informed decision in the elections as well as bridge the gap between them and their leaders when they get there. It is also a platform to sensitise our people on the values of elections and the need to Vote-Right 0 & Not Fight.”It makes me feel so fulfilled. My project Manager, Nurudeen Kazeem and the entire member of my team did a great job. So am really not surprised at the success” Hon. Rotimi Olowo while speaking in an interview with
the press after the event express confidence his party, APC will have a landslide victory in the forth-coming elections saying the PDP lead FG has failed the people. His word: “My expectations are clear. It is not about Olowo, Ashafa, Wole Diya, Ambode or Gen. Buhari. It is about the need to have the necessary change. The FG lead by PDP has failed Nigerians and we cannot continue to do the same thing the same way and expect a different result. Come March 28 and April 11, my party APC will have a landslide victory at the State Assembly, Rep., Senate, governorship and even the presidential elections” 4clique magazine | www.4clique.com
