MELTING ARCTIC & ANTARTIC ICE Satellite images from space show that the area covered by sea ice in the Arctic is shrinking, and it’s continued a downward trend for the past 30 years. The Arctic ice cap grows each winter when there’s less sunlight, and shrinks each summer when days are longer, reaching its lowest point of the year in September. Many researchers suggests that the Arctic could lose almost all of its summer ice cover by 2019! This has negative implications on the jet stream and all global weather.

Curbing damage to Earth’s protective ozone layer was widely viewed as one of the most important successes of the modern environmental era. Earlier in 2018, however, a study reported that ozone concentrations in the lower level of the stratosphere had been falling since the late 1990s – even though the Montreal Protocol, a global treaty to phase out ozone-depleting chemicals, had been in effect since 1989. This raises questions about whether and how human activities could still be damaging the ozone layer.

BUT WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?

GREENHOUSE GASES INCREASING! Global emissions are on track to increase roughly 2 percent over last year’s levels (2017), driven in part by a rebound in coal use in China, the world’s largest emitter. While dozens of nations, including the United States, have been reducing their emissions in recent years, those declines have so far been offset by rising pollution from developing countries.

These numbers suggest we still don’t have sufficient policies in place to prevent global emissions from rising, let alone to force them downward. It’s out of control!

The Holy Bible explains that these changes and disasters are increasing and worsening to warn humanity of an even worse day to come! It’s like a harvest that is ripening to its end! Yes it will get much worse, because God has ordained a limit on the length of time mankind has in his sinful condition (Daniel 8). Just look at the prophecies below and how they tell of the judgement, but also the only hope that is found through Jesus Christ. I hope you can see the signs of the times and connect with the creator KING JESUS!

“And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.” DANIEL 8:19 Stratospheric ozone protects us from exposure to ultraviolet radiation, which can increase the risk of cataracts, skin cancer and other detrimental effects. It takes decades to cleanse ozone depleting substances from the atmosphere, so even after the Montreal Protocol went into effect, their concentrations did not peak until around 1998 and are still high.

CH4 FROM FOSSIL FUELS & NATURE As temperatures keep rising, a 1.1°C warming due to methane releases from clathrates at the seafloor of the world’s oceans and from the thawing permafrost seems well possible over the next few years. Even more warming seems possible beyond that as CH4 is 80 times more potent than CO2 as a greenhouse gas! A release of up to 50 Gigatons of hydrate storage is highly possible for abrupt release at any time. This could potentially increase temperatures significantly more causing increasing heat amplification with mass extinctions!

Humans will also be endangered in many regions.

POLLUTION CRISIS! PLASTIC As well as the pollution of the atmosphere by carbon dioxide & Methane the world is facing another consequence of massive oil usage - plastics! The environment and especially the sea is now polluted so badly that even fresh water is contaminated - globally.

Where are the nuclear power stations

The most deadly and most long lasting pollutant in the world is nuclear waste. This waste has mostly come from nuclear test explosions, military accidents and leaking power stations since the end of the second world war. Most isotopes take hundreds if not thousands of years to decay away and be safe.

The most important factor is the amount of the dose the amount of energy actually deposited in your body.

The more energy absorbed by cells, the greater the biological damage. Health physicists refer to the amount of energy absorbed by the body as the radiation dose.

The absorbed dose, the amount of energy absorbed per gram of body tissue, is usually measured in units called rads. Another unit of radation is the rem, or roentgen equivalent in man.

All nuclear bombs contain Plutonium (PU) which is the most deadliest element created by man.

Fission of a kilogram of plutonium-239 can produce an explosion equivalent to 21,000 tons of TNT (88,000 GJ) destroying cities!

Plutonium has a half-life of 24,100 years!

There’s approx 200 tonnes in weapons and as much in storage.

We now come to the consequences of all these crisis combined, hunger, thirst and death of animals and humans. One day you will be numbered among the dead, a sobering thought, but hopefully not before you have connected with the author of eternal life, Jesus.

A total of about 123 million people died in all wars of the 20th Century, thereof 37 million military deaths, 27 million collateral civilian deaths, 41 million victims of “democide” (genocide and other mass murder) and 18 million victims of non-democidal famine.

ANIMAL EXTINCTION CRISIS The WWF and many animal scientists concede that we are in a mass extinction period which seemed to begin in 1970 (or was it 1967!). 137 or more species go extinct EACH DAY and many are on the verge of extinction.

Many of these are insect & bugs, but also mammals.

HOW WILL THE END COME? All these terrible statistics should cause you to question what is going on? The world is being destroyed despite good men’s effort to prevent it. These events and happenings are warnings that we are near the end of all ages. But how did Jesus say the final day would come?

“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

INSURANCE CRISIS! INCREASING LOSSES Global disasters have increased the cost to insurance companies and the cost of obtaining a policy in high risk areas. Some coastal towns cannot get cover anymore.

STORM CRISIS! CYCLONES & HURRICANES As the atmosphere warms up it transfers heat and CO2 into the oceans. The level of heat and gas now in the sea is nearing full capacity. The extra energy contained in the big oceans is generating cyclones and hurricanes in ever increasing power. Additional moisture also rises into the clouds creating heavier tropical type rainstorms and hailstorms. Most of these charts show data up to around 2010, but recent developments show even bigger spikes!

“And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” Rev 16:21 A talent in today’s weight is approx 50 kilograms!! That is gonna really hurt! This is what’s coming in the final judgement of God’s wrath, according to Jesus and John.

TRUTH CRISIS! ISMS AND CULTS Along with the natural and physical disasters in the world today we have also seen a massive increase in the number of ‘isms’ and ‘cults’ during the same 200 year period. These are beliefs that are considered erroneous when compared to the Bible Scriptures and the basic tenants of Christian and Judaic teaching. It comes as no surprise that the increase in these apostasies has resulted in the increasing judgements and disasters of all kinds in the last days of the world today just as the Bible predicted. Despite this the greatest trend is still towards evolutionary atheism or the unaffiliated.

POLITICAL CRISIS! THE WORLD SYSTEMS

Christianity apostatised into many different factions as Romanism infected the true Gospel message that Christ (Messiah) had delivered when it started erecting building and serving money. Despite this the Word of God has endured in those willing to reject the world.

Yet more ‘ISMS’ have been created by man as he tries to run the earth without God’s wisdom. Politics is the control system of the world whether despotic or democratic. The hierarchy of the kingdom of darkness builds regimes of fear and manipulation on a vast scale.

When religion and politics combine we get mass murder and genocide - even in the name of God or Allah.

These beast kingdoms will one day be defeated by the returning King of Kings!
