What if you found out that nothing we Protestants practice originated in the first century? What if you found out that almost all of the things we evangelicals practice originated in the last 500 years? This book could make a radical out of you. For a few, it might even move you BEYOND RADICAL.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19
JESUS CHRIST
SEATED IN HEAVEN “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens” Hebrews 8:1 aul the Pharisee probably never met Jesus of Nazareth as he was preaching in Israel during his brief 3.5 year ministry.
S
heaven once his mission was accomplished (John 3:13; 6:38; 13:3; 17:5; Luke 9:31 ). Jesus did accomplish his mission, to bring salvation to Israel and to the nations.
Sure he probably heard of him and how he died, because as Saul he actively opposed the first believers, seen approving of Stephen’s stoning. It was on that very occasion Stephen declared that he could see Jesus at the right hand of the Father in heaven above! (Acts 7:56-8:3). This caused the Jews to react violently, because for them such a statement was considered blasphemy, as they believed no-one can see God and live. But without a doubt Stephen did see Jesus (the Son of man) standing at the right hand of God confirming the truth that Jesus had indeed ascended into the invisible heavenly realm, approximately 3.5 years earlier (Acts 1:10-11). Jesus himself had always said that he came from heaven and was going back to
Where is Jesus? Jesus is now seated in heaven on the throne of authority, which is where he came from, having now overcome sin and death on our behalf mediating for us as a man and priest (Heb 7:26). This is the core of the good news message of the Kingdom, once we were slaves to sin and Satan’s kingdom of darkness, but by faith (confession & baptism) in the redemptive work completed by Jesus Christ (Messiah) we are made a new creation freed and separated by his Spirit to be a son of the ‘heavenly kingdom’ where he now reigns (Rev 3:21). The book of Hebrews best explains this incredible paradox. “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From
henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” (Hebrews 10:12-17 KJV) Make no mistake this Covenant is truly NEW and not the old covenant renewed, because Jesus has become the all in all. He has fulfilled all the prophecies and laws that needed to be completed, not for his sake, but for ours. It is our belief and faith in this work which enables us to receive forgiveness of our sins and iniquities and not by any works we can do. This is the Gospel of Grace who’s mystery was revealed to us through the preaching of Christ crucified and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. At that glorious moment of conversion and transformation continued on page 3
