FIT OUT TO FIT IN

By John Holland

Isaw someone recently wearing a t-shirt that read: Where My Peeps At? It made me smile because we all need our peeps on our journey toward a more fulfilling and soulful life!

These are the like-minded people of a particular group or community where you feel most comfortable.

These are the members of your spiritual family where the relationships are all about sharing, giving, and receiving energetically from each other. These are likeminded souls who are drawn to each other, have similar interests, will push you to be all that you can be, challenge you, understand your point of view and help you expand your mind and consciousness. These people in the front row of your cheering section accept you for who you are, encourage you to reach your goals and dreams, applaud your accomplishments, and are there when you stumble.

I've met thousands of people at my workshops and online events who are from all walks of life and from all over the world and have one thing in common: They're all on a spiritual quest to discover their soul and purpose. I really enjoy watching people come together, become friends (sometimes for life), and feel they can express themselves with one another in a positive way. They no longer feel alone or different. They have found the members of their community—their peeps!

So, where are your peeps?

First, let me say that you're not alone. As members of my newsletter community and My Soul Community, you're my peeps, and I'm yours!

If you feel you're not part of a community/group, you resonate with orbelieve no one out there understands you, please think again. Your peeps are there. You just have to believe it, keep following your spiritual practices, and your souls will come together. When this happens, you'll feel that you have known these people your entire life!

JOHN'S MESSAGE

Remember, you won't find your like-minded community if you're constantly sitting at home. Is there a certain activity you like, perhaps a meditation group, book club, or online class you can look into? Most people enjoy each other's company, especially when they're all in sync with a commonly shared activity or passion.

Here are some suggestions on how to find your peeps. Give one a try this week!

Attend more local events that you're passionate about.

Join an online community that focuses on your favorite interests.

Form your own club if you can't find one.

Take a class that you've had your heart set on. You'll meet so many different people. You never know. Synchronicity may be guiding you to this class.

Volunteer! There are so many varied and different organizations that need help. But, trust me, there is one out there for you, or possibly one that you may have said in the past: "I want to help them."

Just keep believing in your thoughts, attracting exactly what you need. Your peeps may even become your soul family. Reach out and explore. Trust your feelings and have fun!
