LOCAL MARKET UPDATE Written by Maureen Kay | Office Manager SALES & RENTALS

Queensland appears as though it is still going strong with Brisbane’s property market forecast for growth in 2022. Brisbane is tipped to have the highest growth of all capitals in 2022, albeit with prices rising at a slower rate than in 2021. With a flow on from our capital city and interstate buyers, Maryborough is also seeing record prices and a shortage of properties for sale. Ensuring sellers a quick transaction with no signs of slowing down any time soon. Our One Realty office have sold 389 houses with a value of $120m in the past 12 months. Our rental department has leased 203 properties, with an average of 40-50 applications each. Maryborough and surrounds have several projects planned for the near future ensuring more jobs for the area. We in Maryborough are extremely pleased to have Fraser Island and all the heritage it has to offer. Also on our doorstep we have Hervey Bay, fishing inlets of Maaroom, Tuan, Boonooroo, Poona, not to forget Tin Can Bay and also Rainbow Beach with it's coloured sandy beaches and surf. And to be completely spoilt we still have the pleasure of our stunning rural and agricultural background. Maryborough has so much history and she’s looking great for the future. It’s no wonder we have so many people wanting to buy in our area and share what we in the past have taken for granted. If you’d like an appraisal on your home or your thinking of investing in our area, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to meet with you or forward to you any information that we may be of assistance with. Stay safe and look forward to hearing from you.
