Ajaire has been the sole creator at Call Ajaire since 2009. An avid sewist and crafter for over 25 years, it wasn’t until her oldest daughter was born in 2011 that she found an outlet for all her creative ideas and the focus of Call Ajaire shifted to sewing and fashion inspiration for young girls. In 2015 she finally opened a pattern shop called Designs by Call Ajaire (DbCA) where the focus is on patterns that help build sewing skills and confidence. Each pattern listing has skill builders listed so if you’re looking to learn something new you are able able to choose those options. The Call Ajaire blog is still up and running and you’ll even find a new post there once in awhile. Ajaire has contributed the Buzz Puffer Coat to this issue.
Sarah is the British-Australian designer behind Made by Jack’s Mum. Her aim is to make sewing accessible to all, whilst creating simple and stylish clothing designs. Having two gorgeous boys to inspire her means that MBJM has developed a definite boy bias but she designs for everyone. Sarah has contributed the Constellation Lacing Cards to this issue.
Laura started Laz Designs as a place for all her crazy creations back in 2012. She loves to sew and design appliqués for her two kids. She started sewing after not finding ready to wear clothes for her tall and skinny kids. She has made many custom appliqués for friends, and thought it was time to start sharing her ideas. In this issue, Laura is providing three files for HTV users as well as a full article on using them!
Sarah is an architect by day and maker/ sewing addict by night, and in between keeps her three little messers under control (most of the time). She is the owner behind In Complete Stitches where her passion for design joins forces with her need to create. She is delighted that In Complete Stitches’ first PDF sewing pattern is featured in this issue of One Thimble! Lots more to come!

I’m Jenn, designer at Jennuine Design and sometimes blogger at A Jennuine Life. I’m an accountant by degree and I’ve taken my love of logic and precision and mashed it up with my creative side to grow into a designer. Originally from Michigan, my husband and two daughters now call New Jersey home. Jenn has contributed the Adult’s Pixel Pullover to this issue.
Sarah is a mum of three, from South Australia. She has a passion for handmade and the value of shopping small. For four years she has been selling quilts and other home décor pieces under the name Piccolo Studio and is now venturing into pattern making, something she is finding both challenging and rewarding. Sarah has contributed the Space Theme Busy Book to this issue.

KARLY NELSON Paisley Roots www.paisleyroots.com/
Karly is a mother to 5 adorable monkeys, music lover and life-long crafter. She was given her first sewing machine when she was 20 and she hasn’t stopped sewing since! She started a blog in 2014 and came out with her first pattern shortly after. You can find her at Paisley Roots, where she shares all of her sewing adventures. Karly kindly shares her hack for adding sleeves on to her Thyme Vest which was originally in issue 14.
DEB ZALESKI Sprouting Jube Jube www.sproutingjj.blogspot.com
My love of sewing and design can be traced back to the age of 3, matching fabrics to sewing patterns. After that it was never enough, I just wanted to learn more. Mum to 4 kiddos, part time graphic artist and part time blogger at Sprouting Jube Jube. When I’m not at the sewing machine you can find me in the kitchen cooking and baking.
