Duchess frilly vest My daughter Kt, is very fond of my mannequins - she likes to dance with them and sometimes lets them take part in her “imaginings. One day I came into my sewing room to find one had been redressed with a half finished bodice backwards over another dress. As soon as I saw it I started imagining how a frilly vest could add froufrou to simple dresses.

This vest has been designed to be worn over the Twist Dress. When buttoned the contrast panel in the twist dress will remain covered letting you give yet another look to your Twist!

ypsy Shrug This light little shrug is perfect for the change of seasons. Use it to layer over summer sleeveless dresses and tops, to get some extra wear from them as the days get cooler. Fabulous also as a sunsafe shoulder cover, over those same outfits for picnics and other adventures.

wist Shift dress This dress has lots of fun features to make it fabulous for casual get togethers. It has welt pockets for collecting treasures, a contrast panel where you can play with fabric combinations and it is reversible which is a real plus if you have a little one who spills or who likes to change their outfit to suit their mood!

The Ranger Shorts are intended to be an easy ďŹ t, long cargo short with room for comfortable play and adventuring. The dâ€?ring half belts replace elastic at the front for a flat front look. They also allow the fit of the shorts to be adjusted as your little one grows. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RANGER SHORTS DO NOT ACCOMODATE NAPPIES/DIAPERS. I have included the size 2, for toilet trained children, for whom size 2 shorts that accomodate nappies/diapers are too roomy. If you are making these to sell, it will be important to note in your listing descriptions that these shorts do not accomodate diapers/nappies as otherwise you will come across sizing issues if they are purchased for size 2 children who do wear nappies/diapers.

I adore the look of vests on boys! I love how they add a timeless classic look to any outfit. I’m also a fan of Grandpa cardigans and their contrast trim. With this vest I combined the two ideas. This vest is so vesatile especially for Autumn - wear it over a t-shirt or collared shirt, done up or undone.

Party dresses have got to be one of my favourite things to make. I adore the idea of my dresses being part of special times in little ones lives. The Posie Dress is a basic button back party dress style with simple shoulder frills and a sash where you can show off your creativity. It’s the sort of dress that I hope will give confident beginners the confidence to attempt more complex party dresses & more experienced sewists a basic pattern to customise with their own flair!

Kt loves getting Daddy to draw things for her. This applique was inspired by a sketch of a steamtrain that she got him to draw for her cousin.
