JAALA PEDLEY Threading Rainbows www.threadingrainbows.com.au Jaala is a Primary School Teacher who first started sewing 7 years ago when she had her son. She started off making quilts and loved creating masterpieces out of fabric. She turned to clothes when her daughter came along. Her focus is on fun, funky and easy patterns for the whole family. Jaala has contributed the Bedtime Buddies Pattern to this issue.

SUZANNE WALLACE Threading Rainbows www.threadingrainbows.com.au Suzanne’s love affair with sewing started way back in primary school. There was a lull in her sewing activities when she bought a rundown house on a beef cattle farm on the Northern Rivers of NSW. It was when her grandchildren came along that, her love affair with sewing was rekindled. She has contributed the Bedtime Buddies Pattern to this issue.

KYLIE GERSEKOWSKI Little Moo Designs www.littlemoodesigns.com.au Kylie’s love of sewing began when she was young. Her Nan and Mum are both amazing dressmakers. Little Moo Designs was started in 2010 when she wanted to design a unique hobby horse for her daughter. Kylie brought us the Busy Block pattern in Issue 4 and has contributed the Tahlia Skirt Pattern to this issue.

ABBIE DANIELS Tigerlily Patterns www.tigerlilypatterns.com/ Abbie is the “Mrs Lily” half of Tigerlily Patterns being Mum to a Lily. Tigerlily Patterns is two sisters who love to sew and create. They are a team that have been sewing and making for almost as long as they have known each other. They combined together to become TigerLily to share their fun with you.

JESS TURNER Flosstyle Patterns www.flosstyle.com Designing patterns is a natural fit for this sew-aholic with a background in web design and 4 little munchkins to create for. Jess’ mantra is to design unique, practical and comfortable handmade for everyday. Jess has contributed the versatile Jukebox Duet dress pattern to this issue.

MICHELLE HALL The Toffee Tree www.thetoffeetree.blogspot.com.au Michelle is the creator at The Toffee Tree, which began as a personal crafty blog in 2012, when she got the sudden urge to sew more often. She loves making practical and playful things with a storytale spin that encourage young imaginations. She also loves anything chocolate, the colour green and works as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist.

Sarah is the designer and creator behind Ric-Rac & Retro. She brought us the Snow Queen Applique in Issue 4 and is back again in Issue 7 with the Down the Rabbit Hole Applique. With a background in Education, Drama and English, Sarah loves making things with a bit of a literary touch about them. She loves how appliqué is all about the attention to detail and giving new life to fabric scraps.

JESS DEWIT Gracious Threads www.graciousthreads.ca Gracious Threads began as a place for Jess to share all the sewing she did for her friends and family. It soon grew, as other sewists shared her love for simple, practical clothing for kids. Jess lives with her husband and 3 children on their Canadian dairy farm. She contributed the Traveller Tee to Issue 4 and is back in Issue 7 with her Everest Pants.

ADDIE MARTINDALE Addie K Designs www.addiek.com Addie is a designer, busy mom, teacher, pattern maker, and dreamer. Addie has been sewing for over 20 years and has been teaching others to sew for over 10 years. Addie is dedicated to making sewing approachable to all who want to learn, through simple techniques and clear instruction. Addie is also a cofounder of sewingwithboys.com, a blog dedicated to sewing for and with boys.

FOR ONE THIMBLE …

The e-zine and pattern lift-out is in this one PDF document The e-zine is at the front and the pattern lift-out comes after. At the start of the pattern lift-out (page 155) is a printing guide so you can see which pages you’ll need to print to make which pattern. The pattern lift-out has the pattern pieces, sizing information, fabric requirements and other important information for the construction of each of the patterns. The instructions for making the patterns are in the e-zine pages. Before making any of the patterns you should read the pattern thoroughly. If you have any questions during construction please don’t hesitate to email me at help@onethimble.com.au or ask in the Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/onethimblesewingenthusiasts
