How The Worst Thing That Ever Happens To You
Can Also Be The Best Thing That Ever Happens To You And Can Open You Up To Your Spiritual Awakening. Kelsey Ward | Clairvoyant, Clairaudient, Clairsentient, Claircognizant, and a Medium.
toxic including every person, job, and situation in my life, it instantly improved. At first this felt extreme and became lonely because I didn’t understand it. Please know if people start falling out of your life instantly, this is simply part of your spiritual awakening and is redirecting you toward your highest self and for you to be able to reach your fullest potential and follow your souls’ purpose in this lifetime. This is imperative in order for you to be able to follow and trust both your path and purpose.
We’ve all been through it. The one thing that breaks us down more than we could have ever imagined and seems like the end of the world, crushes both our soul and spirit and makes it seem nearly impossible to get back up and recover. Today I’m going to share a story of how the worst thing that ever happens to you can also be the best thing that ever happens to you. There is always a way out of the darkness and there is always a major breakdown before a breakthrough. In 2017 I was living in the Northern Virginia, Washington DC Metro area and I lived alone in my dream apartment that I felt was my safe space and I called home. Little did I know this apartment was by far the worst thing to ever happen to me but also the best and the beginning of my spiritual awakening. To preface, a spiritual awakening is a phase in one’s life where everything seems to be going wrong all at once in every aspect; however, it’s doing so in an attempt to open you up to following your spiritual path and purpose. It does so by placing you in the most difficult situations that may seem near to impossible to overcome; however, this is the catalyst for change to shed any and old layers of yourself to be who you were meant to be, also known as your highest self. This was by far the most difficult phase of my life. This apartment had made me extremely sick from toxic black mold which I was unaware was in the apartment. It had been growing behind my drywall and in my heating and cooling system for 4 | OneTribeMagazine.com
five years. I would constantly get sick while living there and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. I had visited multiple doctors while living there and was never able to receive proper diagnosis. Little did I know, the mold was an identical representation of all of the toxicity which was overflowing in my life at that time. All of the toxicity had to go as well as everything I owned as it started to grow all over every single item of furniture and clothing I owned. I ended up being forced to throw out every single thing I ever owned. This was what had begun my rebirth in addition to my spiritual awakening which helped me blossom into the person I have become today. Although this situation proved to be complex, it was by far the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Once I was able to rid myself and my life of everything
Spiritual awakenings can be extremely scary; however, they are absolutely worth it in the long run. Please know when every aspect of your life feels like it’s going awry and nothing is making sense, this is simply your guides clearing and making way for the new and positive to enter your life and detoxing the negative. You must endure the hardships in order to find the good. As with everything in life, there is always light at the end of the tunnel and always a solution. It is your job to find the hidden message in every hardship and turn it into the best thing that could have happened to you in order to find the gratitude and peace you deserve.

Fibromyalgia Devastating But Not Incurable. Annemieke van Eijkeren Rapid Pain Elimination Therapist & Mind Mediation Therapist, Therapeutic Counselor.
Fibromyalgia is primarily characterised by chronic and widespread musculoskeletal pain, physical and mental fatigue, poor sleep and general physical illness. For many it is like a curse, a permanent and ever increasing blight upon a person and their family, as if cast by a particularly angry wicked witch in a particularly dark fairy tale. Once Fibromyalgia took a hold of me I firmly believed that my fairy tale was over, there could be no more happy endings for my story. I was wrong, even this curse can be lifted. No frogs were harmed in the telling of this story (there are no frogs in it). Unfortunately there was no spinning wheel for me to prick my finger upon. No angry witch with a grudge to settle. There was no fairy tale narrative at play, but how I wished, how I’d begged for that spinning wheel since that day when my life so undramatically changed. Just like any other day I had risen, washed, dressed and prepared to face the day ahead. Though it turned out that I wasn’t prepared at all. I was sore and I was exhausted. Pained in a deep rooted way, in a way that only some fictional sleep echoed in the great fairy tales of the past, tired in a way I would soon know intimately, daily and, so it once seemed, unendingly. This was just the start of a journey I could never have contemplated, a journey that seemed too unreal and yet real at the same time. There was no narrative to follow, no predetermined path, no Holy Grail or buried treasure, and unfortunately no handsome prince who would come along, kiss my exhausted lips and bring brightness, energy and life back to my failing form. 6 | OneTribeMagazine.com
The theme of fairy tales is a good one because ‘normal’ rapidly becomes the fairy tale you wished that you could live. Normal was a story that we could once strive to reach for, with heroes and heroines and dragons to slay, potions that fix everything and spells that bring an end to all suffering. Before I knew it things were spiralling beyond any form of control. The medical professionals, doctors, rheumatologists and endless pain specialists presented like our princes from far off lands, although instead of the wonderful kiss of true love they bring endless recommendations for things that make very little difference. Pills, potions, drugs, supports, crutches, exercises that almost cripple and helpful modifications to our cars, homes and even our clothing to make the pain of life easier to bear. If you’re reading, I’m sure you know already the curse that we call Fibromyalgia. It isn’t simply tiredness : there is weight gain,
appetite loss, a foggy, fuzzy way of thinking, depression, anger, angst. There is grieving for the life we lost, but for each day we find something else from the day before that is no longer feasible. How long before walking the dogs, or brushing my hair takes so much effort that I don’t even bother any more. The person we see in the mirror is no longer the person we grew up being, that childlike innocence gone, maybe now we are the Beast awaiting Beauty? More fairy tales, our dishes don’t wash themselves, and that clock, which is one hour out thanks to daylight savings time and my inability to reach up there, take it from the wall and twist the dial back and forth to make it accurate once more. It simply sits, ticking. Endless time and yet out of time. This certainly sounds like a lot of self-pity, and for a long time this was very much my life. I’d gone from motorcycle riding, horse-riding and folklore dancing, enjoying sports, being endlessly active to an inactive cripple. An excited and proud mum that I knew my daughter could be proud of, a woman who was capable, desirable and passionate, excited about tomorrows and proud of yesterdays, and I guess I just didn’t notice at the time. I had all that in my grasp, taken for granted and then quietly, stealthily taken away. You bet I felt pity, anger, frustration and loss. I grieved for the glowing flare I was. We become warriors. Fighting against ourselves. Our bodies sending endless signals of pain, almost passionate in their need for us to stop. To just stop. Of course we’re not going to be beaten, and so we keep going, fighting, pushing, using our anger and grief and frustration to push, push PUSH.
One day I found I no longer needed to push. I no longer needed to fight. You could say I found my fairy tale, my Beauty, that slowly but surely the Beast curse is being lifted, and I’m once again filled with hope, with love, with excitement for the future. Now it is time to step away from the fairy tales and share a reality, an understanding that I wish now that I’d gained decades ago. An understanding that could have been the difference between having this tale of suffering and sadness, and a tale of excitement, drama, success and inner-power. Through working first around and then alongside a fantastic team of people, exploring the principles of pain both subconsciously and physically and the many psychotherapeutic approaches to managing the symptoms of pain, I was exposed to a whole new approach to recovery, a different process aimed at all kinds of pain. Physical, emotional, chronic but most importantly no longer relevant pain. The unique thing about this team is the trials and testing, the exploration of the sciences, as well as simply the results. I saw clients suffering from auto-immune conditions quickly finding that their pain is dramatically reduced, and therefore their fatigue and mood are lifted. I saw cycles broken, lives regained, and I gained hope for the first time in what seemed like that one hundred years. At first it seemed like magic, as if still part of this distantly remembered fairy tale, but as you learn to understand the deep connection between stress, emotional pain, depression and physical pain it quickly becomes obvious how everything plays together to make this illness all that it is. Even the mentality, the warrior mindset, plays into the hands of the illness, wearing you down, tiring you out, increasing your mental, emotional and physical stress.
I used to be a Fibromyalgia patient for many years, to the point where I couldn’t get out of bed by myself. Used to be, but not anymore, because of RPET and Mind Mediation Therapy.
population being affected. For the first time though, the investigation is about more than chemical compounds, surgical intervention and pain killers. The mindset, emotional and mental health are all being covered with startling findings. The modalities used by me and my fellow Rapid Pain Elimination and Mind Mediation Therapists work directly with emotional and mental health, targeting the deep sources of emotional stress which contribute greatly to the longevity of this illness, to the severity of the symptoms and prevention of remission, and with fantastic results. I remember wishing that I could find a magic lamp, rub it and ask the genie for just one wish, the release of this pain. I didn’t find the lamp, as I said, life isn’t a fairy tale. I found something much greater, much more powerful. I found myself, my strength, my voice and I found the path to once again living. I now stand in front of the mirror with hope, and I see in my eyes that vibrancy, that excitement for tomorrow. There are no fairy tale endings, and that’s fine. It’s 2019, how could Sleeping Beauty ever consent to a waking kiss? However life is not about the endings, it’s about the story we create along the way, the character development and the plot lines we cover. My story has had its darkness, now I stride confidently towards the light. If you want to walk with me and step away from that cursed disease then contact me via the links below and we’ll get you going again, on your way to a new life.

Scientists, neurologists, rheumatologists and researchers are increasingly finding the direct links between emotional and physical trauma, stress and Fibromyalgia, more research is now being performed than ever before into this life-destroying illness, and that’s no surprise with up to 6% of the world’s OneTribeMagazine.com | 7
Are you feeling stuck? Do you feel out of balance? Does life appear extreme to you at times? Does that exhaust you?
Then it’s time to change the metaphor! Nina Sadlowsky | International Results Coach & Speaker, Yoga Instructor, Essential Oils Lover.
So, clear out the energy that you don’t want or need anymore, clear out the tensions in your body, the thoughts in your mind and the feelings in your heart. Let them go. Make space in your water glass.
Our life and how we live it, is based on our culture, education and interpretations which over time develops a certain belief system, a thinking pattern, eventually our reality of life.
Examples of what I keep hearing from my clients: Others have a negative energy. I am not loveable. I feel tense about money. My shoulder and neck are often tight.
This reality of life, however, is not generally valid. Your reality is not mine, just like my reality is not the same as anyone else’s. We all perceive life through a certain lens, subject to the stage of life we are in or moving through at the moment. The good news is the lens is changing and adaptable, and you can change and are adaptable. So, at all times in your life, you have the power to look through a different lens. You hold the power to experience life differently, i.e. not stuck, but in flow. Not out of balance, but balanced. Not in extremes, but on the middle lane. Not exhausting, but empowering. Isn’t it powerful to know that you hold this power within you? Isn’t it great to know that your life does not depend on someone else, but solely on you, your consciousness, your desires and your willpower to take action? Isn’t it awesome to know that you can stop living life by default, but design your life instead? If you feel like you have lost your power, let me tell you, you haven’t lost it. You probably just forgot about it. So, do you want to reclaim your power? Do you want to reclaim your life? 8 | OneTribeMagazine.com
WRITE IT ALL DOWN. Journaling is one of the best ways to clear out your body, mind and soul system. Step 2: NOURISH
Then follow this 3-step-programme. 5 4 3 2 1, GO! Step 1: CLEAR OUT The first step of clearing it all out is so critical. Imagine a full glass of water. When it is full, no more water can be added. It runs over. It is the same with our body, mind and soul. When it is too much, it’s simply too much and we cannot absorb nor process anything else. This is because we hold on to things, that we don’t need anymore. Our energy that should ideally be running through our body and mind freely, stagnates. We’ve stored (disruptive) energy that we don’t need any more in our bodies, we’ve stored thoughts that we don’t think any more in our mind, and we’ve stored emotions that we don’t feel any more in our heart. This is all taking up space in your water glass.
The second step is equally important. When it comes to personal development, you might want to think about your personal growth, your transformation and how you can become the best version of yourself. So, after step 1 and clearing it all out, my question to you is: What are you nourishing? What is it that you want for yourself in life? How do you want your life to look like? How do you want to feel? What do you want to invite into your life? Which energy do you want to feel and attract into your life? Examples of my clients: I deserve success. I am loveable no matter what I achieve. I always do my best in every given situation. I attract abundance and prosperity into my life. WRITE IT ALL DOWN. Journaling is also a fabulous way to express your desires to someone or something, even if it’s only your journal.
Step 3: HARMONISE After you have defined the aspects you want to clear out of your life and those that you want to nourish more, it’s time to harmonise. This third step is about inviting it all in. Invite the new energy that you want to be in. Invite the feelings that you want to feel. Invite the new higher frequency that you want to vibrate at. Harmonise your new energy and frequency in your body, in your mind and in your heart. Introduce these new patterns into your life, no matter what. Vibe your own freedom by inviting it all in. You deserve this. You deserve to be 100% happy. You deserve to live a life you truly love. Examples of my clients: I’m loveable no matter what. I am successful with my business. I let difficult situations run through me. I don’t always react immediately. AGAIN, WRITE IT DOWN. Let your journal serve as your best friend that you can tell EVERYTHING without judgment. Trust and enjoy. Remember: If you are stuck, change the metaphor. Change the question you ask and you’ll see a new answer. Change your perspective. Look through a different lens. If you do not know what is right (yet), switch into ‘Let’s see’ mode and gift yourself time. Go through life from moment to moment and adapt the lens whenever necessary. You’ll notice just how beautiful life is. Enjoy the process and enjoy the ride! Yours, Nina PS: You can continue your practice with my Amazon Bestseller eBook “Feel Understand Heal – Design your life for results”.

Jump Into
2020 ~
Robert Landau | Motivational Speaker, Certified Life Coach & Published Author. When it comes to the fine art of setting goals, successfully arriving at the finish line is what it’s all about. Many often forget that it’s all about how you choose to manage the race along the way. It’s the journey that counts because once you have your goal in mind, how you take the next series of steps makes a huge difference in jumping into ultimate success and realization.
It’s easier than you think but you must be focused and dedicated to making a change in a better direction.
What does the month of January mean to you? Is it just another month in the progression of years that seem to accumulate all too fast or could it possibly be another opportunity to get closer to the reason why you came here in the first place? Always remember that how you choose to feel about jumping into something that’s right at your doorstep is a good indication as to what will actually happen as the new year unfolds.
If you follow this simple process and dedicate yourself to making each step along the way the best it can possibly be, then you’ll find yourself in the company of a select few who have earned their place at the finish line.
What if I told you that you have the opportunity to make this your best year yet? If you don’t believe me, I would ask you to seriously reconsider. You have a hand in how your future unfolds. You want to be sure that when you jump, you’ll land successfully on both feet. Are you an innocent victim of life’s seemingly random circumstances or might you consider the possibility that you are a willing co-creator in what happens to you along your journey? Jumping into a new year means that you have yet another opportunity to get things right. What a blessing and gift it is to be able to take things to the next level… each and every year. So how can you make this year better than any year before it? 10 | OneTribeMagazine.com
Creating intent gives you the upper hand in setting the foundation for great things to happen in the near future. Thinking isn’t as important as feeling when it comes to jumping into the next phase of your life.
This is a process that shouldn’t only be used at the beginning of the year. The quest to create and realize goals is something that you should be engaging in throughout the entire year, every year. Don’t sit around waiting for something to happen, roll up your sleeves, jump in there and make it your business to use your amazing power of intent to create the best future for yourself ever imagined… and here’s how. The Easy 5-Step Journey to Jump into Any Goal 1. State your goal 2. What will you do to realize your goal each and every day? 3. F eel what it feels like to already have achieved the results of your goal 4. Get out of the way and don’t let self-doubt become a major player 5. Be patient and open to receive Let’s take a closer look at each of these important steps; 1. Stating your goal Briefly state what your goal happens to be. Many find writing this down to be extremely helpful. Seeing it on paper makes it real and official. Make sure your goal is attainable and realistic. Trying to jump into something that is too farfetched will only serve to create unnecessary disappointment. You deserve better than that. 2. What will you do to realize your goal each and every day? Plan out a time-line on a calendar of what you’ll get done when
this, the better. Don’t be your own worst enemy when it comes to achieving your goals. 5. Be patient and open to receive A lways make sure you’re expecting your goal to be fully realized. Even though adjustments might have to be made along the way, think positive and check yourself to see if you’re totally open to receive success once it occurs. Rome was not built in a day. Have faith and feel that what you will end up receiving is exactly what you need, not necessarily what you want. The Universe always has your back but the question is, do you believe it? If you follow these five easy steps, you’ll soon find that setting and realizing goals is so much easier than it might have seemed. Stay the course and you’ll soon find that will be well worth the journey. on the way to achieving your goal. What small steps will you need to take to get your goal accomplished and what specific days and times will those particular steps be realized? Remember, the smallest steps forward create the biggest waves of change. 3. Feel what it feels like to already have achieved the results of your goal F eeling, even more than thinking, is one of the most powerful tools you have to get anything done in your professional and personal life. Science is now proving that if you can feel what it’s like already having accomplished your goal even before you start it, you’ll have a much better chance at arriving at the finish line. Good times to do this are right when you wake up in the morning and just before you fall asleep at night. 4. Get out of the way and don’t let self-doubt become a major player nce you’ve got your goal-setting O wheel in motion, it’s important to remember to stand out of the way and let the results be brought to you. The less your mind-chatter and self-doubt interferes with
Jumping into the new year might indeed be the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself. You’re the only one that can make this happen. If you take the steps to get there you’ll find that you have plenty of help along the way Just ask and you will receive!

From A Spiritual Junkie Back To Being A Real Human Linda Liv Doktar | Expansion Coach for High-Performers
that by showing up this way we have in fact only kept feeding a ‘brokenneed-fixing’ identity & addiction?
I finally jumped off my unicorn and back into the Human Experience. I took my head out of the clouds and came back to planet earth.
The only way that I came to realise this was to take the journey myself. I took the journey from 3D to 5D to 12D to 5D, and back to 3D again. No-one told me that the magic in life occurs in the physical dimension. The very dimension where our manifestations also become real.
I was immersed in it all… In fact, I was addicted. I was addicted and attached to crystals, tarot cards, ceremonial cacao, full moon rituals, plant medicines, pendulums and all the rest. I was always chasing the next healing and the next 12D activation. Because I wanted to transcend and expand. I wanted to keep elevating my consciousness. Yet soon I realised I had been operating from ‘broken-need-fixing’ mentality and belief system. The present was never good enough so I kept seeking the next thing that would help me expand and grow. I didn’t know when to stop. And I didn’t know I had been creating separation instead of wholeness. So, I recently made a decision to quit. I quit my addiction to spirituality, as I realised I had developed a way of being where nothing was good enough. This also meant that I believed I wasn’t good enough the way I was. So I kept doing all the things that would help me evolve. And on this journey of addictive ascension I had been partaking in spiritual by-pass and missing what life was truly about… The enjoyment of the now. It’s almost like spirituality has become a trend. We begin showing up differently and speaking differently. We begin to engage in ‘conscious language’ and start using different words. Some even begin to channel light language, and soon 12 | OneTribeMagazine.com
The truth is we cannot just sit in meditation and think about what we want to manifest. Every dream and desire must be backed by a physical action in order to put the universal wheels in motion to deliver our desires. we find ourselves so removed from the 3rd dimension of the human experience that we reject and avoid the magic that has been gifted to us. It’s almost like crystals, incents and tarot cards have become ‘cool’. And we then tattoo our bodies with spiritual and cosmic symbols. Even yoga has become a new trend and easy ‘go-to’ for relief after a ‘bad day’. Now suddenly we find ourselves by-passing our human emotions, and the moment we feel challenged on the inside we escape into meditation. We also think that because of these challenging inner states we must be missing something, we must still be ‘broken’, So we keep doing more and more. And this is a trap. It is an addiction to ‘doing’ rather than ‘being’. So how and when do we know when to stop? How and when do we know when to take the foot off the pedal? How and when do we come to realise
Most people who embark on an addictive journey of ascension lack embodiment in the now. This is who I also was. I was living with my head in the clouds and lacking embodiment in the now. And everything happens in the NOW. Time is an illusion, and the question is – What do we keep re-affirming in the now? That we are ‘broken, not enough and need fixing’ – or that we are ‘whole, happy and abundant’? I resigned from my healing addiction and ongoing 12D activations. I put my full-moon rituals on hold and said ‘No More!’ And as a result, I have integrated back into the 3rd dimension and began to experience the magic in the now. I now feel as complete and whole as a Queen in a Queendom! And I never knew that THIS kind of fun, happiness, contentment and joy was even possible! I have never felt more happy, content, fulfilled and powerful than

One of the most powerful and important things I have ever learnt in my journey thus far, is that my soul always knows. My soul is my compass. My soul is my navigation system. And when I follow it, I simply can’t go wrong. – Linda Liv Doktar

I do at this point in my life. I feel like a magician. My manifestations also show up instantaneously. We never know what we know until we step into the next level of Self and reality. Until we peel back another layer and align another degree to the highest truth of our soul. But how did I know it was time to press pause on the 12D world? My soul spoke to me. My intuition gave me a nudge. I was guided. And to have the ability to connect to this level of inner guidance is a practice itself. No more healings. No more activations. No more releasing of blocks. Only one simple thing – To enjoy the fruits and bounty life has to offer. And to enjoy getting to know the new self I worked so hard to create. Now, it was time to be a true human again. To play, enjoy and explore. And since then, I have been playing! I have been enjoying and exploring! I have been having a such a good time! With zero judgment, resistance and escaping of the present. Just simply making love to the now. And the magic that keeps unfolding in front of my eyes. The speed of which I receive my manifestations is mind-bending! Lately I have been invited to several activations and offered free healings. And the old me would have jumped at every opportunity. Yet the only thing I feel in the now is contentment, happiness and wholeness. Therefore, no part of me feels the need to accept any further healing. I am not stating this as a ‘forever’ fact. The 5D / 12D journey has played a big part in my life and my growth. And I don’t reject any dimensions or any parts of Self. Right now, for the very first time in my life, I feel fully embodied in the all-ness of the human experience. So, my point here is – Do YOU know when to stop? Do you know when to take the foot off the pedal? As the saying goes “don’t fix what’s not broken” is also a great reminder that we are never broken - unless 16 | OneTribeMagazine.com
we embody an identity and belief system that we are. Because then, no matter how many healings or activations we do, we’ll never feel complete. We’ll never feel good enough. This is a shadow side of the spiritual ascension and the ‘consciousness space’. One of the most powerful and important things I have ever learnt in my journey thus far, is that my soul always knows. My soul is my compass. My soul is my navigation system. And when I follow it, I simply can’t go wrong. Whatever I ask for it guides me to the exact thing one way or another. Or it guides me without my conscious asking. But I always trust. Even when the rest of the world is going Right, and my soul wants me to go Left - I trust and I go Left. I go wherever it wants me to go. Your Soul is your most important life coach and your biggest cheer leader. So it’s time to stay in your own soullane. Everything and everyone you get to experience here on earth is a bonus. It’s a gift! And if you don’t know how to access your soul guidance, intuition & inner wisdom find someone who can teach you. Do not solely rely on external healings and activations. Learn to become your own healer, guide and activator. Operating solely from external guidance is a trap. We must learn to embody all parts and all dimensions of Self. We must learn to return to wholeness and to the truth of who and what we are. And most importantly, we must learn to integrate all the magical ‘woo-woo’ into the 3D. It’s HERE where the REAL magic happens. So from a space of truth, alignment, awareness and surrender – let’s enjoy this human experience to the fullest! It’s what our soul came here for. Let’s embody real happiness and fulfilment without pretending. You deserve it all. We all do.

My Painful
Health Challenges Helen Nachintu | Intuitive Energy Healer & Mentor | Natural Health Researcher.
Upon arrival to the hospital I was examined by a Doctor Who then gave me the devastating news that the fibroids they had removed only a few months ago had actually grown back. This time they were more aggressive than ever, and I was told by my consultant that the only options I had open to me, where either I have another operation to remove the fibroid with no guarantee that they won’t grow back again, or I would have to have an operation in order to remove my uterus. I was also told that this operation would then mean that I could never have children again, and within a few months or even years I will have to start taking HRT (Hormone Replacement Treatment) to balance my hormones.
The year is 1976 it’s the 30th day of July I’m a tiny little baby is being born. She is a baby girl. She is beautiful and she is worthy of love. Within a few days she has contracted the worst strain of German measles. How mother and grandparents I so worried about her. They don’t know what to do. She eventually ends up in an intensive care unit within two weeks have being born, and she spends the next six months in the intensive care unit. The baby I describe is me. And this is my journey through health. This article is written from my own pain. As a young child I started my period very early at the age of 10 years old. Ever since I started my periods I have bled heavily to the point where I had to wear two sanitary pads and a tampon, and I still bled through my clothes. With the heavy bleeding came a lot of pain in my back my stomach and in my reproductive areas. On top of that I used to suffer really bad headaches and eventually I became very anemic. Later on this period pain and the prolonged periods lasting between seven and 10 days went on to cause numerous issues in my life, which included endometriosis, adhesions in my reproductive area, and longlasting battle with fibroids. I suffered with fibroids for the best part of nearly 20 years of my life. Never did I ever imagine that there would be a natural cure for fibroids. At the time everybody that I spoke to just kept telling me that there was nothing more they could do for me especially the medical profession. From my own personal recollection I remember having at least four operations just to remove the huge fibroids that were making me look pregnant even when I wasn’t. At one stage my stomach actually 18 | OneTribeMagazine.com
resembled that of a six-month pregnancy. The heavy bleeding and prolonged period pains persisted throughout my 20s and early 30s. It eventually came to a head one year shortly after Christmas day, when my daughter who was around the age of 13 at the time found me laying on my bathroom floor in a pool of blood cradling myself like a baby that was about to be born. I was in so much pain she took one look at my face and one look at my surroundings and decided to call her grandmother. My mother turned up to the house and ambulance was called and before I knew it I was in the accident and emergency department of stepping Hill Hospital. The bleeding and pain was so severe that I had passed out on the bathroom floor unable to move, the ambulance men had to carry me out on a stretcher.
Bearing the state of mind that I was in at the time I was ever so confused and wasn’t sure which decision to make. Whichever decision I made would continue to affect me for the rest of my life. I consulted my boyfriend at the time, and as he already had three children, he was not very keen on having any more children. However I went on to think about the fact that there was still almost a 15year age gap between us and I still really wanted to have children. Even if it wasn’t with him. At this point I had already had two successful pregnancies. My first child a boy called Chris, died at a very young age of 14 months old from cot death. My second child a girl named Olivia was now 13 years old. I still felt like I did not want anybody to take away the option of me having children in the future. However at the same time I really could not bear the thought of continuing my life with the prolonged Anemia from the heavy bleeding as a result of having fibroids.
To this day I still believe that my condition at the time, of prolonged heavy bleeding and fibroids was responsible for the breakdown of my relationship at the time. I gradually became this a miserable person who didn’t want to go out socially because I literally could not be out for more than two hours before bleeding through everything including my clothes. I could only wear black clothes. My wardrobe was just full of black clothes. I could not bear the thought of wearing anything with colour in case it showed through the bleeding. If I sat down in one place for more than two hours I was frightened of getting up because every time I stood up I had to look back at the chair where I would often see the a patch of blood from where I had bled through everything. Roll on the next day in hospital this was now day two and I was still unable to make a decision either way. After much deliberation, I eventually made the decision that I could no longer live the way that I was living. Heavy bleeding, prolonged period pains, and fibroids had literally taken over my life and turned me into such a miserable negative person. Something that I would never wish on anybody else. When my consultant came to do the rounds, I signed the consent form, and I signed away any chance I ever had of ever having any more children. And with one stroke of a pen my uterus was gone… Just like that! I remember the day I was wheeled down to the operating theatre. I was so emotional, so confused, and so tearful. Even though I’m trying to hold back the tears as much as possible to keep everybody else around me so strong. The first thing I remember after coming round from the operation, was just tears. I actually woke up in the recovery room crying my eyes out like I’ve never cried before and I just could not stop crying. A follow-up appointment with my own GP then revealed that I would have to take HRT at some point in the next few months or the next few years for the rest of my life I remember saying to my GP that there is no way on earth I am ever going to go on HRT. And to this day, I do not take hormone replacement pills or any form of HRT. I manage my health and my hormones simply through the
use of food as medicine. This is what I teach and this is what I believe in. And that is how my journey in to writing the period Protocol began, by loosing my uterus, and then later doing the research to find out that I actually did not have to have the operation, and fibroids and heavy prolonged periods are actually treatable naturally without modern day medicine or brutal hospital operations that leave you without a Uterus and for some women in some cases their ovaries are also removed. Even though this was not the case for me as my ovaries were left intact. The work that I do now aims to inspire and empower women to heal the world and hear each other naturally. This is why I feel so passionately about gifting each and every single woman in this world with the gift of my e-book, The Period Protocol so that they can take their health into their own hands and learn the very simple methods that they can do, starting today, in order to help them get rid of the issues that they face during each monthly cycle. Period pains, heavy bleeding, prolonged periods, and getting hormonal prior to your period is not the normal way of life. Before writing this book I actually tried this protocol on a number of family members and friends who suffered with long prolonged period pains and on top of that they were extremely hormonal at least a week or two before they came on their periods. This of course did not just affect their health but also went on to affect their relationships, their work, and other aspects of their social life. The protocol that I gave them and the protocol that I’m about to give you changed these women’s lives forever. Not only did they get rid of the hormonal tendencies, and premenstrual tension, but they were also able to significantly reduce the blood flow to just spotting, and they also reduced the number of days they were on a period. Some of the women experiencing a period between seven and 10 days were able to reduce that to between three and four days of just spotting with no pain and no symptoms that they were even coming on a period. You too can benefit from this very simple protocol that I am now going to provide you.
There is no catch as to why this protocol is free. All I ask is that you share the link from where you got this protocol with your friends, family and loved ones. On top of that I would very much appreciate it if you could give me some feedback, and a testimonial if possible. By sharing your period story you will also be helping other women around the world. Many women do not want to talk about issues they have with their reproductive systems, because we have been taught to be extremely embarrassed about talking about such issues. However my belief is that the more stories we share, the more we can actually help each other. So please remember to share far and wide, your period story will also be helping other women around the world. So just to recap, heavy prolonged period pain affects millions of women across the world. We need to break the silence in order to overcome this health challenge. My experience ended up on a hysterectomy but yours doesn’t have to, and that’s why I have launched the One Million Women Appeal, so that I can help as many women as possible around the world by allowing them to download my Period Protocol for FREE at this link: https://www.venus-club.org/ heavy-period-protocol Please share the link far and wide so that together we can help each other to heal. Apart from giving birth, there is nothing more beautiful and powerful than women who inspire and empower each other with knowledge. “Be The Change You Want To see In This World” Ghandi And on that note, I am wishing you all the best, and please remember to give me your feedback on the Period Protocol.

REVOLUTION Resolution Burt Kempner | Independent Writer/Producer & Author
I have often – too often – felt like a tourist in my own life, pausing long enough to take a snapshot or buy a tacky souvenir, but not to see or do or learn anything memorable or enduring. I dressed the part, too. In my youth, my passport to the unexamined life bore many, many stamps. I have been battling this tendency as I’ve gotten older, and I’m declaring 2020 as the year of quiet revolution: in consciousness, creation and manifestation. Like a true traveler, I aim to give as much of myself as I take from others. A woman once screamed at me: “Stop looking into my soul!” She reached across the table, picked up a salt shaker and hefted it in her hands, weighing whether to throw it at me. I hadn’t looked into her soul. I made her do it to herself. But that was then. Now I’ve pledged to shapeshift from observer to participant. Outside my window right now there’s an imaginary blanket of snow, a pristine new year unsullied by disagreements, mistakes or disappointments, throbbing with promise and possibility, and I’m in here writing stories. Enough, people. I’m tired of sitting here with a lump in my throat the size of life itself. What are we waiting around for? Let’s make some tracks already. A very happy new year to you all.

I Know You’re Not Going To Give Up
On All The True Love You Desire {And Deserve} So Here’s What To Do Next. Joanna Intara | The Intimacy Genius
I grew up loving romance, love poems, hearts in the stars and all the while I lived in a household that was filled with lovelessness, lack of care and deep conflict-ridden insecure attachment.
And that’s easier said than done. But it doesn’t have to be. And for me, who came from serious ancestral trauma, profound insecure attachment and trauma with ZERO good role modeling of how to do good love, juicy love, hot love, true and sincere love, sweet love... what I found that helped me create love like this...?
Forget talk of love, true love and how to cultivate it so that parents and couples could be close and connected.. having all the passion, love and closeness they desired, deserved.. and were so deeply needed for not only themselves, but their families too…
It was to delve deep into creating the most secure attachment possible and to learn how to actually be available to receive love, cultivate it in my body and to share it in ways that were creative, genuine and true.
But I never lost sight of it... and how much I KNEW what mattered, even though I didn’t really have it. Maybe you’ve felt that too, ever since you were young but just don’t know how to get it? In my adult relationships, and most notably my marriage with my beloved, I’ve been challenged and tested at times to truly reach deep into my soul and my personal practices to learn to create love and open up to it, even when I felt disconnected from it, and from loveless places - learn how to embody the creativity to love so that I could experience the great love I felt destined to experience. And it’s so true how Hollywood and the larger online culture does fabulous job on showing us on how we SHOULD be in love and how magically it should unfold, but never really any tools on actually HOW to do it. Which is a set up for: - Feelings of failure 24 | OneTribeMagazine.com
- Hopelessness about how to sustain love once we find it - And what to do once we feel disconnected from love - And the worst, thinking that the person we are with is wrong for us - Feelings of worthlessness - Total confusion - Self doubt and hurt. The feeling of being separate from true love, starting with our own, is one of the most painful, isolative experiences and it happens to almost every couple or person in relationship I’ve ever worked with, including myself! Which is why, in order to actually have a relationship that’s hot, loving and close, you need to know how to cultivate it, and get it back when it seems to be gone.
Which was VERY challenging at times, and made me lose my last nerve often, and slay ancestral dragon after dragon of all that stood in the way.. and maybe, you too... have wrestled with these demons, and devils who try to seem to get in the way of you and all the deep and scared love you deserve, desire and are hot for? Ancestral trauma - is the handing down of unresolved patterns of trauma, injury or wounding... that NO ONE has really done any work on healing, or very little, if at all. Sometime my love would say, “Babe, I don’t know... can we do this?... maybe this is just too much...” or I would say my version of it... and the disconnection dynamics would play their way out, over and over, wrecking sourness over our true love which I knew was there, even though buried, I suppose, for safekeeping for a while until we figure our shit out.
But we did, by diving into the most disconnected parts with the right healing attitude, instead of the usual things we did and that all humans can do; blame, attribution, judgment.... and had to ultimately learn how to open to love and the deep care inside of what that really amazing love requires. And while we are, like any other couple, a work in progress, I’m immensely proud of the work we’ve done considering everything, and the presence, deep creative care, and love that we embody for ourselves individually and each other. It’s the sweetest heart nectar to enjoy... and to watch our kids bathe in the benefit and legacy of love that we are leaving for them as well. And it turns up the volume really well on Hot Sex, Love and Closeness that parents and couples deserve, just like you. You could, like I did, try to turn down the volume of how deeply you desired that true love, or even tried to negotiate with yourself that it could somehow stay not fully turned up, And sometimes, I wonder, even when people know they want this, why you think they prolong it? And how do you think they are able to manage not having the kind of love in their life that they want so badly? I mean, why prolong THIS? Why delay something that transforms your day to day life, your happiness, your family? So if you’re ready to actually experience TRUE love, the kind of write home about, all-the-way home kinda love, let me show you how. Did you grow up with good love role models? How has that shown up for you? And... I’ve got ONE spot (https:// www.freecallwithjoanna.com/) open this week for anyone who is wanting to turn up the hotness, love and intimacy in their love relationship..... even if you haven’t been having it for a while... get on this while there’s openings.. you can tell me any one thing you want help within your relationship.. and I’ll share with you the MOST EFFECTIVE thing that will totally help you.

Forgiveness Christine Saunders | Empowerment Coach at Wholehearted Life.
You’ll never know how strong your heart is until you know how to forgive someone who broke it. When we love someone, we can forgive a little easier, right? We can find the good in the ones we are closest to, the ones we can find goodness deep within. We are more likely to forgive because we believe their intention is good. Knowing this, and knowing that our own intensions are pure and good; when was the last time you thought about forgiving yourself? I don’t know about you but I tend to hang on to guilt and shame for things in my past. One maybe because I didn’t realize the toxicity of this or perhaps it had a purpose. All I know is, it kept me stuck in a place I came to realize was no where I want to ever go back, nor should you. We do this because we can’t get to a place of forgiveness and it becomes normal. It is serving a purpose. It is meeting our needs, until that day you realize it is eating away at your soul. You then have a fight with your heart and your mind as to who owns your soul. This form of self-suffering keeps us in a place of being comfortable and certain. It takes acknowledgment that we have failed. Here is a secret, if we can shift our meaning of failure, we can shift our meaning of forgiveness. Let’s go back to forgiving others for a quick second. When we see others fail, most of us think “it’s ok, keep going”. We encourage others and forgive them because we want to see others succeed. Do we not want to succeed? Of course, we do. We have these little things called habits and rituals and we shy away from being uncomfortable. It’s simple human nature, we view being comfortable as being in control. But, it becomes dangerous when we are not in control in other areas of 26 | OneTribeMagazine.com
“sorry” even if there is no need to be? Well, we are programmed to say sorry, “it is the polite thing to do”. It has become a habit engrained in us at a young age. “Be polite” “say you’re sorry” so when we really are sorry or hear the words “I’m sorry”, the meaning has changed. It takes someone multiple times expressing their sincere apology for us to consider forgiving, and that is true for ourselves. I seem to have to apologize to myself multiple times for ME to feel like I am heard and given the chance to be forgiven.
our lives but believe that everything is in control. It keeps us hooked to keeping the space in our mind filled with thoughts and beliefs. If we know it is necessary to forgive ourselves and we also know, it can be challenging. How do we really forgive? That true deep-down wholehearted forgiveness we know will be good for us. Forgiveness is taking the past and learning lessons and being able to set every aspect aside from those lessons. For yourself, not for others. Forgiveness is for you, not for the other person. When you forgive yourself, it makes you a stronger authentic person. We honor our authenticity by forgiving our imperfections. First let me pose a question, what is the difference between “I’m sorry” and “I forgive you”? For me, sorry is a superficial word that allows you to feel okay at that moment. Whereas when you forgive someone it is coming from deep within our hearts and our inner being is at total comfort. So, now we have explored the word sorrybut why are we so quick to say
True forgiveness is not “forgetting” we can forgive and not forget. Now that may sound a bit counterintuitive. Our hearts will forgive, our minds will remember. Our minds like to remember things that have caused us pain and suffering so it can counsel our hearts on the lessons learned. There is caution in this as our minds are powerful and like to rule. Remember, our hearts are the true brains of the operation. There are always opportunities for “good” in every situation. We need to sync our energy between our heart and mind to find this sometimes so they can work together. Remember our minds like to dominate the energy. So we align, forgive, and sometimes even forget. A dear friend shared a quote “One forgives to the degree that one loves.” —Francois de La Rochefoucauld The more you love, the easier it to forgive. So, we must begin to love ourselves as much or even more than we love others.

With peaceful strength I say goodbye...
with loving forgiveness I say hello. Samantha Caroline Lavallée | Writer & Lover of all things soul at Beautiful Disaster. You sat there, silent, stunned really, not understanding what was happening yet you knew all very well that the disrespect was unacceptable.
anyone who loves to play in the hurt and who perpetuates that hurt onto you as they punish you for what another did, or they themself did.
You stayed there, quiet, mouth shut while your soul screamed and shook with a feverish roar you knew you’ve heard before.
Get the fuck away from this toxicity I hear the echoes reverberating from inside, echoing off of the walls of my aching heart.
You watched in disbelief as the handsome form before you showed he’s ugly faces. Hoping, praying and clinging with a firm grip that it wasn’t true, my god it can’t be true, not again, not again dammit. No. No. No! But you knew. Yo stood there, witnessing the reality of who he was spew venom at you in a haste of a drunken haze you could see that was foggy yet you could deny it was still happening. You just so fucking knew! You felt unsafe, yet stayed. You felt confused yet tolerated. You felt disrespect yet you accepted. And with each bite you knew this was a poison that you needed to rid yourself of, yet you kept coming back for more... even when knowing...even though you knew...
The lies will only grow with each false accusation thrown your way to take away the vile guilt that he is consumed by. The manipulation will only get keener and more clever as he wears you down into a mass of confusion that becomes a total mess of chaos. I sit here now with a terrible ache that is wretched and filled with sorrow as I’m trying to swallow pass the knot in my throat as the truths my soul is trying to rid itself of as I keep regurgitating them in hopes to avoid the deep sadness I know that is seeking release are the words I can feel my pride choking on as I allow reprieve to share them on paper. Damn this never gets easier, but it’s better knowing and choosing to move from that space.
And then, in the midst of this shit show drama fest you realized that you were wanting to prove that this man can be and is everything he says he is yet he, when gripped in his insecurities, lost to his grief and hurt, and in his drunken stupor displays the hurts in a passive way yet felt aggressively as it strikes the cords of your heart, like an undercurrent, it’s here and there, yet felt cutting soul deep; while you can see it’s being aimed at you yet you understand with a poignant rigour that it’s being directed by his past...nevertheless it’s he’s choosing, knowingly or unknowingly...
Shame, that’s what’s rolling around like a ball of lead in my stomach and grief for not honouring my boundaries, for accepting to take part in the play of manipulation and disrespect that I chose to allow. I feel sick with it. Yet, I’m being compassionate as I recover from this mess and find grace and gratitude that I was quick to see through the bullshit, there’s mercy there, this I know.
That’s not your problem woman I can hear you screech from within!
You turn my stomach on one level but on another I feel deep compassion for you.
You are not responsible for healing 28 | OneTribeMagazine.com
So as I lay this lesson to rest, I to rest in the truth that you were not a mistake my darling, my beloved, but a lesson here to remind me of what I don’t deserve and what I do deserve.
You are wounded, yet you won’t heal it. You rush and push through life trying to prove your worth while suffering inside with a resentment you dare not utter. Yet, I get it, I’ve been there, and people pleasing will never gain the love you so desire, it will corrode your trust in others and self too. So I’ve come to accept that though I love you, you are not yet capable or in a healthy space to give what you cannot receive or receive what you keep fighting to give, the love you feel you’re not worthy of...and my darling you are so worthy...you just got to figure it out for yourself...but know that I believe you can, you just got to figure it out for yourself my darling. Being human is no easy feat, but you can heal, and I am too, especially those parts of me that allowed such crappy manipulative behaviour to be tolerated. I wanted you, but I don’t need you or your money, and that hurts when that’s all you’ve known. I wanted to feel safe with you, protected and cherished, but what I got was a boat load of lies, an ocean of drunken hurt, and tides of uncertainty that left no room for safety or trust. There’s no need for that. So, I’m sorry to myself for tolerating this even for a second and I’m sorry to you that I ever gave you permission to proceed to do so. Yet, I’m not sorry to have met you because you are a wonderful human being, you just don’t yet realize it, and until you choose to stop rushing and running you’ll keep missing the magic, your magic too darling beloved divine masculine. With peaceful strength I say goodbye to you and with loving forgiveness I say hello to me.

What Is Confidence
& Can You Learn To Be Confident? Charmaine Barber | Transformational Coach & Writer.
We all go through life either being over-confident, confident, lacking somewhat in confidence or completely lacking in confidence. So, what is confidence, and can we learn to be confident?
well as not being a very good role model for others.
Confidence for me is, having total faith in ourselves, it is an acceptance of ourselves and who we are, a belief and trust in our abilities, our skills and our talents, that we are competent at what we do and there is a knowingness that we will succeed however, whatever, eventually at some point if not now. It is an unwavering faith in ourselves and an inner knowing that we will overcome any challenges or problems life throws at us. It is a state of mind. Listen to what I said above again, “Confidence Is a State of Mind.” What I mean by that is that it is possible to visual ourselves being confident or we can with equal measure, visualise ourselves as not being confident. We don´t always realise, but we constantly visualise throughout the day as we go about doing our work, jobs etc. We visualise in a way that uplifts us or drags us down. It makes us feel either positive or negative. We are the only ones responsible for how we feel, our emotional state and we can turn up the volume or turn it down to help us feel better. Most of the time we don’t even realise that we´re visualising or that we are responsible for what we do. Think of some of the things we say, especially children when they´re arguing with each other say things like, “You made me do that.” The 30 | OneTribeMagazine.com
other person is totally unaware that they have “made” you do anything because they are too busy in their little world, worrying about their life and who did something to them, or not! We so often go through life saying things which are disempowering without even realising it and our energy feels low as a consequence. Lots of us say, “I just want to be confident,” – all the time. If that were the case and we were confident all the time, imagine how in certain situations it wouldn’t always be very helpful and could actually get us into hot water. For example, what if you were so overly-confident that you decided you could walk across three lanes of motorway blindfolded. Personally, I don’t think you´d make it over the first lane. I´d call this automatic, over-confident, arrogant even or simply downright stupid as
It´s far better to be realistic and pick a specific time, place when you would like to have more confidence. For example, how about wanting to have more confidence when you have to attend a parents evening with your child. Instead of sitting there feeling like a victim, shoulders slouched, eyes lowered, muttering platitudes about your child and their so-called failures, do something different to help you feel more confident. It isn’t easy always because it´s almost as if you´ve been transported back to your own school years and you start to feel as if it´s you who hasn’t done your homework! Just by sitting straighter on your chair, hands folded in your lap and your gaze on the teacher, listening concentratedly will help you feel more confident and them feel as if you really are paying attention to what their saying. I just hope you´ve brought an apple with you for them lol! Doubt is the opposite of confidence, doubt in self especially, and to get to being confident, we need to learn and can, especially if we weren’t helped and supported to become confident as children or we experienced a traumatic childhood as I did. We learn from others how to think about ourselves and confidence comes from the experiences we´ve had and how we deal with those experiences. To become confident, we need to keep on learning.
A lack of confidence tends to manifest itself in subtle ways, it can be the slight hand-movement that gives us away, or worse, a shaking hand, our stomach feels sick with nerves or we start to get a headache or even a migraine. We might even need to have a quick drink to calm our nerves especially in a situation which we aren’t used to, or we start to overeat. Not the best solution because it can, if left over time, lead us to having a drink or eating problem. Or we start to smoke to compensate, all of which aren´t healthy ways of coping. By drinking, smoking or overeating repeatedly we end up forming neural pathways which are hard to eradicate without some form of intervention by ourselves or someone else, meaning, we´ve formed a habit which is hard to break out of. So, instead of travelling down that road, it´s much easier to tackle the problem of becoming more confident! A lack of confidence is fear of the unknown, a lack of self-esteem, it´s about poor time-management, unpreparedness, not leaning into yourself and trusting your intuition. Remember this, confidence is silent, and insecurities are loud. Confidence is sexy, silent, key, attractive, is sometimes overrated. It can be high or low, it is a state of mind and a skill to be learnt so why not try? When you´re looking at yourself in the bedroom mirror, straighten your back, give yourself a wink and say out loud, “well look at you, don´t you look confident today?” That´s because you are.

The Angel Of The Dead Caterpillar Just as nature intended the caterpillar to become the butterfly, you too are destined to live a magical and harmonious life. “The life of your choice. VLB Vanessa Louise Birt | Transformational Mentor & Speaker.

The purpose of our lives is to live in joy and to be free. We all, at some point, see our lives as perfect, whole and complete even if only in our imagination. To feel free, loved and at peace. To experience joy, flow and abundance. All we know is what has been before, our past experience. How else would we know anything different? The past is the known, it’s what we know as familiar, expected and comfortable. The future is the unknown, it’s what we perceive as fearful, uncertain and uncomfortable. Or so we are led to believe as human beings. I often wonder, if a caterpillar can transform into a stunning and gracious butterfly, why can’t we transform into the best and most beautiful version of ourselves. But we can, I hear a voice in my head clearly say. You just have to understand the process. Just when the caterpillar thought her world had ended, she became a butterfly.
acceptance of the breakdown of the old system, the old way of doing things, these being our habits and patterns that have led to where we are today. We need to recognise we have a choice to either remain as the caterpillar and see your world as over or choose to be reborn as the butterfly. We can choose to stay stuck and in pain or we can activate our imaginations and create a new life. Too many of us don’t understand the power we have within us to not only transform ourselves but in doing so we contribute to the transformation and evolution of the world around us. Our wider world and the lives we live today indicate we are at the point of the demise of the caterpillar in our evolution and the rise of the butterfly. Will you choose to be the Angel of the dead caterpillar?

Have you heard of imaginal cells? These cells create the incredible process of metamorphosis that occurs when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly. These cells hold all the potential for the future and work individually until the time where they begin to collaborate and work together co-creating an evolved and greater version of the previous existence. The caterpillar eats its way through the ecosystem, its very destructive and consumes 300 times its weight in a day, until it’s so bloated that it hangs itself up and goes to sleep. Its skin turns into a hardened chrysalis in which the caterpillars body turns into glup. This is where the old and the new co-exist for a while and the imaginal cells are activated to begin in the creation of the butterfly. With no resistance nature takes its course and over time the butterfly emerges from the chrysalis born into a new life and a new existence. AND SO IT IS
AND SO IT IS DONE Dawn Bates | International bestselling author, coach and speaker
Image you had a book and everything you wrote in it came true. Everything you write comes into existence. Everything you so deeply desire and long for comes to fruition and you live the life you have always dreamed of.
Another valuable lesson I learnt that day was how not to rush things. To not be in a hurry, to be patient; and as we say in Arabic “sabr helwa” which translates to “patience is good”. Had I been living life the way I had before I started living my life on purpose and in purpose, I would probably not be sitting here writing this article.
I call this journaling. There are many videos and courses available on ‘How to journal your dreams into reality’, ‘How to journal for health and well-being’, how to journal this, and how to journal that. You’ll have probably read articles and success stories all from people who put their success down to the daily ritual of journaling, a written form of meditation. Clearing your mind by purging it out in a journal is incredibly therapeutic. It clears the clutter of the heart and mind just like clearing all the broken and unused toys from the toy box and removing the clothes which no longer fit, feel good or represent who you are in life. Getting present to why people, places and things do not feel right anymore, asking yourself deep questions and purging all the negatives out onto paper is incredibly healing, and is recommended by therapists and coaches across the world. Once all this clutter is out of you, you have an empty space in which to create from. A blank canvas for you to paint your future into reality in any way you wish. Remember how I said in one of my previous articles how being careful what we wish for is a powerful statement? Well to give you an example of this, I remember hoping and praying my second child wouldn’t weigh more than my first 34 | OneTribeMagazine.com
child. And what happened? He came out almost 6 weeks early, weighing more than his brother and nearly killing me in the process. I learnt the hard way how the thoughts and emotions we allow into our hearts and minds can drastically affect our lives, our health and our surroundings. I remember leaving Morocco towards the end of last year, having just spent a wonderful ten days with my chosen family, how everything I wrote down that day in my journal as fact, as done, without doubt became my reality with such accuracy it changed the way I journal. Forever. Now it seems that everything I write down with purity of heart, mind and soul in complete alignment, without doubt, comes to fruition; and the opportunities and experiences which do not come to fruition I check in with. What was missing? How was I feeling at that point? What was going on for me? What distractions were there in my life at that time? And was it something I really wanted?
You see, on the very day I caught the train from Azemmour, Nr Casablanca, to Taanjer to cross the ocean to Tarifa, I was so grateful to have chosen to take a later train. Normally I would have chosen to rush and get to the train station to catch the earliest train they had. I was always up early, in “rush, rush, rush, get it done, get it done” mode. But a few days earlier whilst meditating and thanking the All Mighty Creator, the Universe, I had what can only be described as a soul upgrade, akin to a positive ‘glitch’ in the ‘operating system’ of my laptop. Had I been on the earlier train, and in the same seat I was in on the second train, I would almost certainly have died in the biggest and only recorded fatal train crash in Morocco’s history. Coincidence? No. There are no such things as coincidences. Just reminders you are on the right path or warnings you need to make better choices. Journaling has always been a way of life for me, even as a child. As I sail around the world, I get a lot of time to be with my own thoughts and emotions. I get time to meditate days away from land, under the moon and stars, in tune with the motion of the ocean and away from all the distractions of life. I get to work on my business, not in it. I get to work on my expansion and become more of who I was born to
be. I explore lands, cultures, ideas, behaviours and most importantly; as I am always reminded of the fact “the more we learn about others the more we learn about ourselves. Journaling is a powerful nonnegotiable for me. It gives me the clarity of heart, mind and soul. It is my spell book, to cast all I desire out into the Universe, calling in all I long for and desire into being. I am the granddaughter of the witches they could not burn. The powerful reincarnation of thought leaders, sea farers and mermaids, and this is proven to me the more I step into what my soul reveals to me. My Atlantic crossing from Tenerife to Chile is one such reminder. Sailing up the Coral Coast of Australia I read Gavin Menzies book 1421, detailing how the Chinese discovered the world, not the European explorers. In this book I learnt how Zheun Bo and his fleet of Chinese Junks sailed the very passage I am sailing. A year before that I was sent a link on how to recognise the various Tall Ships from a friend, an article from the very company I am sailing with, on a Tall Ship named Europa. And whilst here in Tenerife, I have been staying with a friend who lives on Avienda Europa. Again, not coincidences. All signs that I am on the right path. So purge your soul of all that is not serving you and your highest purpose. Remember who you are and who you were born to be. Listen to the love nudges from the Universe, take your time, be patient and allow yourself to connect to source, The Universe, because The Universe is working with the Angels for your highest good. Trust the process, and remember to let go of doubts, because doubts will only delay and distract you from who you truly wish to be, to who you are; And so it is, and so it is done. It was always done, it was written, has always been written.

Our BODY Speaks Carmelle Crinnion | Transformational Coach. Spiritual Alchemist, Pilates Lover.
Our body is our treasure map, and it holds every clue and every answer to every problem we ever have. We usually get the clues via our physical or mental body, and often our internal GPS kicks in and begins navigating us through the best route to take that will lead us to the perfect solution, and often growth. For example, a headache doesn’t come from nowhere. Is it dehydration, eye strain, a tumor, or something more metaphysical like being around people or situations that are making you feel like you have a vice clamped on your temples, slowly tightening until it becomes unbearable - this one has happened to me. When I left my marriage I continued working in the business we had, totally afraid that I wouldn’t be able to find work elsewhere to make enough money for me and my boys to survive. We had been through bankruptcy three years prior, lost everything, and were scraping our way back. I left with a $2000 overdraft, a rented house that I was now responsible for, a company car I had to give back and a broken heart, and he was trying to rebuild a business from the ground up again, also with a broken heart and family. Our confidence was low, our sadness was raw, our marriage was over, and here we were day after day working together. I knew I had to move on and break free, it wasn’t healthy to be around each other every day, but I couldn’t muster the trust in myself to do so. Then something pushed me. Every time I went to work, I would notice that after a few hours my head would begin to feel like it was being 36 | OneTribeMagazine.com
squashed by a vice. When I left the building, I returned to normal, like, as soon as I walked out. So I listened to the loud voice, which projected to me via verbal instructions (my inner voice doesn’t know it’s meant to be silent). It said ‘If you must go, do not spend any longer than two hours there.’ Sure enough, if I stayed a minute over two hours, the vice would tighten, and continue to tighten until I would literally grab my bag and run out when it got too bad. Not only did I feel the vice tighten, I felt a very dark energy all around me and a heaviness that was uncomfortable, even suffocating. I was given more instructions to cut down my hours even more, to trust in this process. When I cut my hours in half, I got home to discover a large amount of money in my bank account. A payment owed but long overdue that I had completely overlooked. Then when I completely stepped away from the business, my phone began ringing with more and
more private clients. From that day, I have been fully self sufficient and my entire relationship with money has shifted to the most intimate and trusting level that I could never have imagined. I had been living in a mode of lack when it came to money, there was never enough to feel free, there were always strings attached, there was so much debt. It began when I had money taken from me because of my very flimsy boundaries, and at that time I went from having a very large nest egg, to zero. The pattern continued for the next fifteen years. It was time I reset that relationship. It’s been eight years since then, and I have enjoyed life to the maximum during this time, travelling, expanding my work and my business to discover new horizons and my confidence in myself has soared. I welcome challenges now because I know there is always magic at the core of them, and my body is usually the first place I feel out of alignment, sometimes feeling stagnant, drained, anxious, in pain or depressed (not clinical depression, more a low level depression). It never lies. A client came to me with stress around a personal situation, feeling trapped. We had only been chatting for a few minutes but I immediately picked up that there was an invisible umbilical cord, intact and still attached to his mother. He then told me about the hernia he had in that exact location. He went on to say how his mother was like a leech in his life, always there, always interfering, always making him feel inferior and a failure, yet unable to stay away. She was literally draining the power from his creative centre
via this attachment. Our creative centre sits right there around our navel and our sexual organs, and it represents not only our procreative ability, but our creativeness in life itself via expression of our deep desires. This might be an artistic expression through music, painting, singing, dancing or whatever it is that makes you feel alive. No wonder he and his wife weren’t conceiving their own baby when this energetic force was draining his own ability to procreate. He was scheduled for surgery the following week to remove the hernia. I advised him to acknowledge in some way, before the surgery, with the removal of this hernia he would also remove/release any and all energetic attachments that were attached to it. As soon as he came out of surgery, his mother began removing herself from his life, without any influence whatsoever from him or his wife. She refused to visit him in the hospital and then in the following weeks refused to even talk to him. The cord had been cut in all forms. No words and no awkward or confronting conversations were needed. It was all taking place in the same silent way it had been draining him. He and his wife felt free and in charge of their own lives again. I recently saw a client with severe eye conditions - glaucoma and retina displacement - and only in his early twenties. He struggled to keep up appearances in his job with the constant strain on his eyes and was embarrassed that his eyes looked cloudy. Through his sessions it was his view on his own life circumstances that was unbearable, and screaming at him through this eye condition to address and make changes in his life and attitude. His relationship with his father was one filled with resentment and anger and abandonment. He didn’t “see” his father through his formative teen years due to extenuating circumstances. He strongly resisted looking at his father in a different way as I was encouraging him to, but he trusted the process and surrendered to looking at his father’s view, his guilt, his own remorse.
As he began seeing his father through a desire to understand his viewpoint, then with forgiving eyes, he then approached him to talk about how he had felt. A bridge was built and the father-son relationship took on a brand new context. And his eyes began to shine, his vision became clearer. He could finally see without a constant haze hanging over him like a veil. The lifting of the veil of anger and resentment resulted in a lightness that continues now to uncover other areas of his life that have been affected by the veil of illusion and confusion. He is literally a different person than when I first met him, and so is his father, who I also had a few sessions with separately. From the simplest discomfort your body shows you, go deeper. Ask your body to describe the symptoms very clearly to you, and this will give you words to use as clues to piecing together the message you need to hear. Some of the most common ailments are constipation and digestion, and no wonder, we are all holding onto sh*t that doesn’t belong to us, it needs to be released! A good place to begin is to take a good look at your diet, both your food diet and your people diet. What do you consume or allow into your life that is difficult to stomach, hard to digest, swallow or let go of? The answers all lie within the clues. Before you reach for something to ease your discomfort, let it speak more loudly, and listen like you’ve never heard before.

Evolution Is Worth It. Kerri Lake | Creator/CEO at Generation Of Harmony
say thank you and good bye to each of the memories and their emotions. As I did, the pain in my face eased. It’s quite remarkable.
Two years ago I had surgery on my nose. We corrected a deviated septum, because I had trouble breathing. I didn’t know I had trouble breathing for 46 years though, because it was just “the way it is.”
Over and over for days I watched and listened to whatever my sub-psyche brought forward on the waves of pain. Some were more difficult than others to bless and dissolve. Some required a few tears.
One day I realized that not everyone uses their hands to hold their nose open just to take a breath like I did. Holding my nose open to breathe while walking was normal. I noticed what seemed “normal” and questioned whether familiar and normal are the same thing. That is the door to evolution. It’s simple. Surgery is a big trauma to the body. The body suddenly has no say in what’s happening. It is forced to endure the injury and produce recovery and healing. The body doesn’t have an opinion about it, though. It simply does what bodies do. It heals. Knowing that my body will heal itself gave me a lot of space to play with what else might bubble to the surface while I’m lying on my back hoping beyond hope that nothing comes close to my face for at least two weeks. Lying in bed, drinking sips of coconut water through a bendy-straw, I let my face hurt. I took Tylenol, but I stayed away from the narcotics I was prescribed. With the heavy drugs, I know there is pain. I can sense my injury, but I can’t feel it. That’s stranger to me than just giving the body the freedom to produce pain. Of course there will be pain after surgery. Why pretend otherwise? If I don’t make the decision that pain is bad, then it is simply a very intense sensation. 38 | OneTribeMagazine.com
With this much trauma to the body, I was moving slowly and spending most of my time in bed. All of that time being still let me play in many dimensions of consciousness. It was a perfect time to explore all of the flavors of pain I’ve experienced in this life and beyond. I tuned in to the pain moving through my face, just hanging out with it. Images, stories and memories began to arise. Childhood emotions and frustrations spilled across the screen of my awareness. A familiar flavor of pain, a common thread through each of them, tied them all together. Through every flavor of pain, I felt alone to endure it without help. Watching in this way without deciding that the various pains are bad, I can feel pain and compassion simultaneously. With no judgment, every aspect is understandable. The distractingly real pain in my face let me easily recognize the emotional pains of the past as fragments that are no longer happening. With an open heart and the same compassion I’d have for good friend, I was able to
As my face continued to heal, I felt like a totally different version of myself. Being me felt new and unfamiliar. It took a whole new level of compassion to not force my behaviors, thoughts and decisions back into patterns that existed before the surgery. I had the opportunity to let change happen. Change is always an evolution. Even if the circumstances of change seem to be going backwards, the awareness that they seem to be going backwards informs the next movement forwards. It really is impossible to not be evolving, to not be changing. Many people feel like they are in pain in everyday life. Whether it’s emotional pain, physical pain, or spiritual pain, the pain itself can be a doorway to transcend whatever brought it on in the first place. The body has no opinion about pain. It simply communicates, “this is how it feels.” Healing, evolution and regeneration happen faster than time and space when there is no opinion of the pain getting in-between the body and its source of life - the heart. The source of life that keeps things moving without any conscious effort is always moving toward life. It seems obvious when you spell it out, but sometimes we need reminding. Pain is not the problem, denial of life is.
My personal priority in life is to embody the highest frequencies of light, love and awareness that are accessible to me. Another way to say it is that I fully embrace my evolution so it may happen as fast as possible in my highest good. I know that my own highest good includes the highest good of all. Sometimes, the ride is pretty intense. For decades I didn’t realize that I was having trouble breathing...until I did. One decision to help the body function with greater ease opened up so many avenues of evolution. All it took was the willingness to move through some pain, and some change. If that’s all it takes, the ride can only get easier, as each time I move through pain, it’s easier and gentler to move through what comes next. Evolution speeds up. This perspective clears the way to live on purpose. So many are looking for their purpose. The hiccup with that is that so many judge their purpose to be “not good enough” unless it produces money or fame. It’s a bit skewed in the grand scheme of things. Living for the sake of evolving is living on purpose rather than for purpose. You begin riding a wave of your own evolution, and you’re aware of it. The awareness is the real gold, because with awareness of your movement, and awareness that you can navigate what comes, you are truly free to express yourself in your grandest ways. Life begins to happen in greater and more graceful movements of evolution. The first three suggestions we learn as an infant are: pain is bad, comfort is good, and the point of life is to be undisturbed. Spending a whole life living up to those suggestions misses out on levels of awareness that only come to those who are willing to evolve. Pain isn’t bad, it’s just sensations. Comfort isn’t good, it’s just sensations. A life undisturbed becomes stagnant and grows algae... metaphorically speaking. Evolution is worth it, with all of the feels and all of the changes. Writing this article brought back the sensations of surgical pain - funny how that works, eh? It’s just a sweet memory of the journey, and perhaps another divine opportunity to evolve.

HOW DISABILITY SPORT HAS IMPACTED ON MY LIFE James Roberts | Former Professional Athlete, Podcast Host, & Transformation Coach.
My story starts off a little differently to most other disabled athletes, I was born with a congenital disability called femoral dysplasia of the left leg. I first started out at an Ablebodied swimming club whilst I was living in S.H.A.P.E, Belgium.
challenge with probably a bit of reluctance but as you say the rest is history and in short I went on to compete at 3 world championships and finished 5th in the final of the Beijing 2008 Paralympics. Possibly finally fulfilling some of the potentials I had shown during swimming career.
Photo: Wendy Roberts
I started quite late as a swimmer only taking up the sport at 11. It was one of my coaches that who asked me at the age of 15/16, “why don’t you try disabled swimming”, I was probably taken aback by that comment, as I thought “why would I compete with disabled people when I am able within reason to compete with my able-bodied peers.” Maybe it was me being a typical teenager and not wanting to conform or maybe as I see it now looking back at it, perhaps I was looking down on disability sport. I only got involved in disability sport in 2002 at the age of 16. But I do believe that it was the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games, that were the springboard to what would be my future career as a Paralympic athlete. The story goes “It was our last opportunity to become involved in the Welsh swimming programme. So, my mother went to the bottom of the temporary stands and shouted ‘Is anybody there from Welsh Swimming and the then head coach Alan Isles came over to chat to us’ It is also a story Alan Isles would relate to other people.” 40 | OneTribeMagazine.com
Disability Sport Wales opened up a totally new world to me. Highs and lows along the way: It was quite a quick rise from starting only starting out in disability sport in 2002, by 2003 I had already broken into the British Swimming’s Potential Squad. However, by the Christmas of 2005 I had been dropped from the programme, I went home thinking after the holidays I’m going to be going back to university and become a normal student. But our Performance Director at Disability Sport Wales (DSW) Anthony Hughes had other ideas, he asked me if I would like to try rowing, I dually excepted the
The 2009 season began and there is talk of me being reclassified, I had a meeting with the Head Coach of GB Adaptive Rowing Thomas Dyson, DSW Performance Director Anthony Hughes, then Head Coach of Welsh Rowing Ian Shore and my club coach at City of Swansea RC to discuss the implications of the reclassification, in short, it was to be my last season with GB Rowing. But both the team and I did our utmost to go out with a bang and to try and finish with a medal at the 2009 World Championships in Poznan, Poland. But it turned out not to be, the boat, however, went under the previous world best time, scant consolation when you have been beaten by 4 other crews on the day. Has anything happened in your life that has impacted how you live now?

ICEBERG To Greta Thunberg, with love. Burt Kempner | Independent Writer/Producer & Author
We are on a luxury liner equipped with every convenience a modern traveler could desire. We can climb rocks, eat haggis, call our brokers and dance under the stars. There are no Somali pirates here, no birdkilling oily froth. We are equally comforted by the churning of the sea and the groaning of the buffet tables.
We hem and haw. “We know nothing about navigation.” “They won’t let us!” “We should do what we are told.” The girl is not persuaded. “There are many of us and only a few of them. We don’t have to be Magellan. All that matters is that we turn this ship around and use the radio to contact other ships that are in the same predicament.”
A few of us spot a glimpse of white far in the distance. We argue about what it could be. We flag down a waiter.
“But who will lead us?” we ask. “You don’t need leaders,” the girl said. “You need actors, people who will take action. I will do my part.”
“That white thing over there? What it is it? A sail?”
And she set off for the wheelhouse, her stride steady and her head held high.
“Over there? That thing? Iceberg. No big deal. No problem.” There is silence. According to what all the experts say, there shouldn’t be an iceberg within 500 miles of here.
After a pause, a few of us followed her, then more and more until every passenger was on the march. We couldn’t, after all, let harm come to a harmless girl, even though we knew that until she spoke out it was we who were harmless.
We accost a bartender, order some gin fizzes and demand that he send someone from the bridge down to talk with us. The man’s white uniform hurts our eyes. “We’re heading toward an iceberg!” “We’re well aware of that, ladies and gentlemen. We have an enormous amount of time to make course corrections and we will. There is no cause for worry. Go back to enjoying yourselves, please.” The ship continues unswervingly on its path. Our laughter still comes, but it’s as stingy as a winter sunset. We know now that, no matter what we’re told, we will strike the iceberg. It is inevitable and there is nothing 42 | OneTribeMagazine.com
we can do about it. Absolutely nothing.
The ship slowly began describing a wide arc. The crew joined in our celebration. And the captain? He was last seen swimming for the iceberg, dreaming of the revenge he would never take with an army he couldn’t raise.
Another waiter rushes by with a huge tray of drinks. We steal them. A voice cuts through our inebriated haze. “Why don’t you just take over the wheelhouse?” It is a young woman, in her mid teens perhaps.

FINDING JOY by Serving Others Lucy Aldrich | Mindset Coach for Success
After many years, and now at the age of 56, I have found my true calling and feel excited by life. I now coach others to do the same, help them to regulate their emotions and find their true passion by learning to love themselves and be grateful for all they have in their life.
down about themselves, have no confidence and would like to find their passion again, so they can enjoy their life. I help those in work, who for some reason or another, are struggling. They may be being bullied, have too much work on, finding it hard to stand up for themselves, or lack confidence in the workplace.
There are two main aspects to my life, both working through the love of God as a committed Christian. My paid work is as a qualified coach, helping people to work on their mindset, eliminate their self limiting beliefs, learn to love themselves and live the life they truly desire. So many people live through the past, believing that this is who they are and that their experiences during childhood, defines their future. People can have the most horrendous things happen to them as they grow up, but with the right support, tools and techniques, they can move on and live a fulfilling and happy life. I use neurolinguistic programming (NLP) to help them change the language they use to themselves, acknowledge their self limiting beliefs and ultimately, throughout my programme, move on to using time line therapy (TLT), to remove their unwarranted negative emotions of anger, sadness, fear, hurt and guilt, which are deeply seated in their subconscious mind. I then help them release all their limiting beliefs, by replacing them with positive learnings, which can then have a huge influence on their future. How many times do you say to yourself: 44 | OneTribeMagazine.com
“I can’t do that, I will just make a fool of myself”, “I’m not clever enough to do that”, “I’m too scared” etc etc. These are all limiting beliefs, decided at some point in their childhood. These can come from comments made by parents, family, friends, school or anyone they come into contact with whilst growing up, the most influential (negative or positive) years are between birth seven, so the events causing these negative beliefs are often during those years, or they can be whilst in the womb or even passed down through the generations. This is a very powerful and exciting therapy, and also very effective, as long as they really want to change. The people I am mainly helping are those who are feeling very
This was my story after suffering from ME for 20 years, I undertook the Lightning Process, which was a form of NLP which helped me see how I was hindering my own recovery through my negative mindset. Once I had recovered, I went out to get work, but I struggled in every job, being told I was too slow, or I was bullied. I then decided to go into Network Marketing, where I could work for myself, thinking this would be the answer. Obviously it helped in some ways, as I was my own boss, but I never earned any money, despite trying four companies. I then found a coach, who helped me see my problem. I undertook her programme and it helped me so much, that I decided that was what I wanted to do full time so I trained with Daniel Tolson, who was amazing, and here I am! I feel so much happier and love helping people to reach their potential and be happy again. At the start of this, I said there were two main aspects of my life. The second one is that of my voluntary work. I am extremely passionate about helping the homeless and have volunteered for four years with a charity called Hope into Action, which does exactly what it says.
“
Release limiting beliefs and replacing them with positive ones will have a huge influence on your future self. – Lucy Aldrich
We are a Christian charity and support those previously homeless, in a group house, give them love, purpose and a roof over their head. As volunteers, we each support a tenant, and have a friendly session with them each week. I absolutely love this work and it is such a humble experience, when they see they have their own room, and are shown unconditional love.
or even in prison, but what we show them is that they are loved, whatever they have done in the past.
It is certainly not plain sailing and can be very challenging but is also extremely rewarding, when things go well. Many of them are very complex and have led really chaotic lives, often on the streets for years,
This is an amazing charity, founded in 2010 in Peterborough by one man, Ed Walker, who had a vision, that every church would have a house attached to it, and already we have houses in many areas of the country,
Many have never had anyone to love them and are often overwhelmed but in a positive way. We do have a high percentage keeping their tenancy and being able to move on into their own flats and live independently, once the two years have passed.
with more opening all the time. If anyone reading this, would like to be involved, in any way, please do contact me and I will signpost you in the right direction.

Mindful Reflection Ingrid Meijerink | Mindfulness & Creatieve Art Therapist
When I look back at why I started working on Mindfulness, it came from one of the toughest periods in my life. I was about to decide which direction to go. Staying in a marriage that was not desirable or fleeing. I chose the route of flight, where I lost my child. I also almost ended up on a dead-end; I got a severe illness that I managed to overcome. Enough bumps on the road to want to forget this extremely stressful time.
between body and mind is. It is shocking how little “feeling” there is in the workplace. We are hardening more and more - all in the interest of efficiency and earning money. Mindfulness can offer a solution here. Through simple breathing and meditation techniques, employees learn to distance themselves from daily processes and to pay specific attention to themselves. The result is that there is less stress in the head.
Mindfulness has taught me to look at everything in your life with mild and open attention. You look formlessly at what is happening around you. You live from the NOW, or as Lao-Tse says: If you leave cloudy water in peace, it will automatically become clear.” I found my new path: “helping others who feel overwhelmed and re-discover their dreams and get back to who they really are!” Mindfulness has become my way of life. Incidentally, the most significant stress factor is at work, including other Burnout complaints. When I look at our country, the Netherlands, more than 17% of the population has a Burnout. That is quite a lot, and this percentage is increasing every year (60% = United Kingdom 44, Ireland 42%). “About half of the European workers is the opinion that stress generally occurs due to workplace stress and almost half of all lost working days, “said the European Agency for Safety & Health at Work (EU-OSHA) Do you suffer from stress? Then ask yourself the following questions: What is important to me? What makes me happy, and what gives me real energy? I don’t care if this happiness comes from work or 46 | OneTribeMagazine.com
private life. The most important thing is that it gives you life energy. These days we are so far removed from what we think is really important. We have to do so much, and our children’s agendas are starting to fill up at a young age. What we are doing does not help achieve a mild open attitude. As we are planning, planning and planning. We adhere to processes and structures within the working framework, (often conceived and drawn up by others). We often continue this in our private lives because at some point, we do not know any better. We are increasingly working with our heads and hardly with our heart and body. When exercising Mindfulness, you regularly use a body scan. The body scan lets you feel what the contact
It’s okay to have a hard time in your life now and then. On the contrary it gives you time to think. I believe in the energy where you have moments of nudging and subtraction. After the divorce, my life was one of the most challenging moments I ever experienced. Still, it was also the moment of reflection. I started to think about what I wanted with my life. This is what I had and where I stood now ... what next? You have no positive without negative, but you regularly feel whether you are still connected to your own passion. Time is ticking - the only thing you have is NOW. Learn from your NOW and continue with what you are feeling. I bet we will experience less stress and burnout in our work and private life. And that we will be a lot wiser because we occasionally standstill when we come across a split in our path again.

Gratitude Is A Seed To Abundance The More You Sow , The More You Reap. Neenna Kaur | Law of Attraction Practinioner, Life Coach & Owner @ CrystHeal. Never question yourself as to why you have to be thankful. Even when you are breathing, there is a reason to be thankful. Be grateful to the almighty that you are alive today. When we start our day, we tend to treat it very casually and gradually as the day progresses, we focus on all our problems and finding the reasoning behind them by trying to blame others. We forget to find the positive behind anything to which we are blessed. We don’t seem to realise that the more we focus on our problems; we attract more troubles and difficulties for ourselves. Have you ever realised when being at peace, how blessed you are? It is all too easy to pick faults, blaming others, finding issues in everything and everyone. Instead, we should try to say THANK YOU to others. There can be many reasons behind every success to be thankful. Just think of your past, take any incident, related to anyone and see if that person left a reason in your life where you can thank that person, I’m more then sure, you will find a reason. It has been proven Scientifically, that people who practice gratitude are at peace more than others who are not aware of GRATITUDE.
BENEFITS OF GRATITUDE • Helps you realise how blessed we are in our lives. • Opens the door for abundance to enter. • Makes you happier. • Makes you feel great when you can help others by saying THANK YOU. • Getting back a lovely smile / a blessing / a cosy emotional expression makes you so happy when you only said THANK YOU. • Helps you to heal your self, emotionally, physically. • Helps you to get rid of many health issues when we start accepting and start saying THANK YOU. • You develop healthy relations with your surroundings. • It helps your relationships bond stronger when you start realising the goodness in others and acknowledge by saying THANK YOU. • It keeps you positive always as you can relate that in every negative thing, there is something positive stored for you.
What is GRATITUDE? You are thankful for anything and everything, which further opens the door of abundance in your life. It is straightforward to understand for a layman - Whatever you think or do the most, you get the same back the most. When we say thank you for every small thing, the almighty has the powers to understand and increase your reasons in life to be thankful. This way, you are creating abundance in your life with an effortless technique just by saying THANK YOU.
HOW TO START THIS TECHNIQUE: I would suggest starting simply with a Gratitude Journal writing 10 points every day. To get connected to started. Go to a stationery shop and pick a beautiful journal you fall in love with. Pick some nice colourful pens for your writing, even by doing this you will feel great. Colour always adds happiness to our lives. Start writing a gratitude list. Pick any ten things to be grateful for, I would suggest doing this in the

The list is so long to mention the benefits, even if you apply a little, you will see the changes in your self.
evening when the day has passed so that you know the reasons to be thankful. • You wake up is a blessing, say THANK YOU. • You had a lovely sleep as you had comfortable bed, pillow, the house is a blessing, say THANK YOU. • You had good meals in the day is a blessing, say THANK YOU • You had lovely clothes to go to the office is a blessing, say THANK YOU • You went by CAR to your workplace is a blessing, say THANK YOU • You have a family who supports and stands with you every moment is a blessing, say THANK YOU • You have office colleagues and friends to be with you is a blessing, say THANK YOU • You have money to pay anything is a blessing, say THANK YOU • You can pay all your bills and can pay for fuel is a blessing say THANK YOU • You get a salary with which you run your house is a blessing, say THANK YOU Just write ten reasons to be thankful and there will be a day when pages are full in your journal, and gradually many journals will complete. I’m writing in my GRATITUDE JOURNAL since 2017 and have filled many many gratitude journals. Sometimes I pick any random one a year back, I read and realise how life passed and how many things the universe has blessed me with, how I reached this place in such ease as I have always been grateful for everything. The universe kept increasing the reasons in my life to be grateful. Many of my students started practising this and see themselves in a
better place with contentment, peace, happiness by having an attitude of gratitude. “When you start saying “THANK YOU” in your life, the universe keeps adding many more reasons to be grateful. “Every step I walk I say “THANK YOU.” Every moment I realise my blessings I thank the universe, its coz of you.“ Make “THANK YOU” an abundance chant . See your life unfold with endless opportunities appear like waving a magic wand. Start your day with “THANK YOU.” Further say to the universe i love you. If anything goes wrong ask for forgiveness. See how life becomes beautiful and gives you abundance. I’m grateful to the universe to put me on this path of GRATITUDE where every breath I take. I say thank you and many more routes are open for me which have given me success, love and showered me with many divine blessings from all corners of life. • I’m grateful to my mom dad • I’m grateful to my daughter and brother • I’m grateful to every situation i faced with challenges which made me very strong • I’m grateful to all who cursed me which came as blessing in my life • I’m grateful to every human being who came in my life which taught me something meaningful • I’m grateful to every penny i earned which made me live my life • I’m grateful to Mr. Kenny Ball through whom i could spread this small token of love and can share the powers of thank you. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

The Nicky Principle Andy Ferguson | Reimagineer.
how the situation is developing, calculating the various options. And yet there is pressure to “make up your mind and just get on with it”.
I used to find it difficult explaining how helping someone become a millionaire in just twelve weeks was linked to cutting the number of patients dying in a hospital in half, creating extraordinary fundraising expeditions for charities, or helping hundreds, more likely thousands, of people “find their happy” over the years. I knew I’d applied the same basic principles to each but the huge range of situations these principles could be successfully used in made it challenging for people to see the connection for themselves. Recently however I’ve coined a term for my approach that I think cleverly captures what I do, I call it Reimagineering. And it is such a powerful way of changing ...well pretty much anything really. To understand it and how anyone can use it to “find their happy” more of the time, I need to tell you a few stories and explain one Principle in particular, one I named after my amazing wife. I call it The Nicky Principle. It’s really the NICCE Principle but when I was thinking about what those letters stood for I realised how often Nicky had change my life and how appropriate it would be to use her name to keep this Principle in mind. NICCE is short for New Ideas or Information Can Change Everything. It is probably the most significant of all the principles I use in Reimagineering. Let’s consider this: It is often said that as people get older they get stuck in their ways. They don’t want to change even if it will improve their lives in some way. I’m not sure that’s absolutely true, I think people often don’t change because they don’t perceive that 50 | OneTribeMagazine.com
the outcome, what ever that may be, will be worth the risk, the hassle, the time, energy or effort. The payoff just doesn’t seem big enough to merit changing. And I think that’s true what ever age someone is. Another reason we may fail to change is because we don’t know that there is or even could be an alternative. These two situations highlight the importance and true power of The Nicky Principle. If something seems too difficult, expensive, or time consuming what would happen if new information or a new idea came along that reduced the cost so much that it became a no brainier? What might we do then? This would be the proverbial game changer, right? There’s a word, more an expression I guess, that I’ve never been particularly fond of and it is Mindset. I think my aversion stems from how lazily it is rolled out, every time someone is stuck or is seen to be procrastinating. “It’s your mindset” a friend will say, when it’s nothing of the sort. Often we are actually processing or gathering information, seeing
It’s as if action, any sort of action, even if it is re-actionary, ill-conceived, poorly delivered or inappropriate is better than careful and deliberate consideration and reflection. Often what other people see as indecision is simply calculation and patience. That process may become more difficult though if we are relying on a limited amount of information or a lack of ideas. In such circumstances we can indeed get stuck and our mind can become set with a (very) limited range of options limiting our ability to act. So in those circumstances we could say “we’re stuck with our Mind Set”. ~~~~~ I remember a time when my kids were very young, I was working part-time for a huge media company. Neither Nicky nor myself wanted to be working full time hours and miss our kids growing up, so we made this situation work for us as a family. Still I was becoming frustrated with my job as a Trainer, Coach and Facilitator in the Learning and Development Department. Yes I loved helping people with their Professional Development and their careers but I was growing to hate the poisoned politics of the place. Eventually I reached out, beyond the confines of the company, to the first of the newly emerging independent coaches that were starting to appear on the business scene in Scotland. He helped me reimagine my life such that I’d be happier working on the outside, away from corporate intrigue and office politics. Yes it would be scary and require hard work
often require new information and new ideas ... I was already employing The Nicky Principle: New Ideas or Information Can (and did) Change Everything. ~~~~~ I have to be honest when I left school I’d massively underperformed and was not destined for University like my pals. I was making money playing in a band in working men’s clubs but I didn’t have a career mapped out for me. Fast forward the next eight years and quite a few jobs and I was still no closer to figuring out where I was headed. Yet I’d learned to look after myself more, having moved to London and then France.
and sacrifice but it had to be better than the situation I was in. As well as coaching, training and facilitating I’d been on radio, a wee bit of TV and was well used to presenting. I thought I could add Professional Speaking to my list of offerings when I left. Long story short in a matter of weeks I lined up two Speaking Engagements at business events. Both paid the equivalent of a month’s wage in my previous job for roughly 45 minutes of my time on stage. Two days work and I had two months worth of wages in the bank. Wham bang thank you mam. This perfectly describes Reimagineering and The Nicky Principle at work. Ian, my coach, helped me imagine a different possibility and then it was up to me to work out how to make it a reality. In order to do so I had to seek out new information and new ideas. I had to talk to people who could help me engineer the process to deliver my ideal outcome. This was an approach I’d figured out how to do a long time ago. When I was still in Primary School, probably when I was around seven or eight years old, I stood up to a bully who was beating up another kid. The outcome didn’t go well, I got a good “leathering” as they say here in
Scotland. I didn’t like bullies then and still don’t now if I’m honest. People abusing power is a crime as black as it comes in my book. Back then it didn’t matter if they were picking on me or on other people, my sense of what was fair just meant I had to take a stand. So I took up boxing, and lost a tooth. Fighting a bully directly just didn’t seem to cut it. So gradually I figured out a strategy to engage with them that avoided bloody noses, black eyes and ripped clothing. I discovered ways of distracting them when they were away from the watchful eye of grown ups. I’d make them laugh, I’d wrestle with them, I’d find ways of engaging them in activities that kept their minds off inflicting pain on someone smaller or weaker than them. I’d infiltrate their gangs and direct their attention away from victims and I’d do it long enough during break times and lunch until it was time for the school to step back in with its own methods of keeping control and order. Back then I was already figuring out the basics of Reimagineering: Firstly reimagining a different, better outcome and then figuring out how to make that a reality. I discovered on the journey to this new place I’d
I was twenty seven when I met Nicky and she instantly blew me away. I hadn’t met anyone quite like her: Very independent, she was prepared to work where and how she liked so she could be in the places that she really wanted to be. She had put in a career in the Travel Industry on hold to ... wait for it ... go travelling. After a year in Australia, working in the middle of the Outback she had passed on a job in London with a prestigious travel company to live in a tent in Wales and learn to become an Outdoor Instructor and now here she was in France working as a waitress in a hotel just so she could spend the winter in a ski resort. She was adventurous and daring and I loved her for it. Fast forward to the end of the season and she headed off to Greece to work as a Holiday Rep. Madly in love I soon followed her and I very quickly found a job. I’ve written about this before. But in this retelling I want to share this one insight with you. I would never have dreamed of looking for a job in the Travel Industry, never imagined I could get a Reps job, without speaking the local language, never have thought of Greece, more specifically Crete as a place to visit never mind work, if Nicky had not presented me with new information and new ideas. These new ideas and this new information changed everything for me. You could even say the very idea of a person like Nicky and the impact she would have on me was an idea I had never considered prior to meeting her. OneTribeMagazine.com | 51
And it never seems to stop. Last year I walked a long distance path that followed the north shore of the River Forth and then the North Sea. A pilgrimage from my home to the ancient University town of St Andrews in Fife. It was an incredible experience with spectacular views which provided great insights in the history of Scotland, I discovered so much. I’m currently working on a book based around the photographs and insights I gleaned from this wonderful journey and the many visits I made to this beautiful wild coast. And I would have done none of it if it hadn’t been for Nicky’s insistence that we walk some of the coast together. She had done so a few times with a friend who had rebuilt a house there. They had walked from one fishing village to another. She said I’d love it and she was right. Call me stupid or stubborn but I had resisted, thinking it couldn’t compare to the walks I’d taken in the mountains of the highlands I love so much. How wrong I was. It’s so easy to get stuck in our ways, to dismiss the world without getting to really know it. We convince ourselves there is only one way or a few ways. We close ourselves off from our dreams and the amazing possibilities out there because we can not see beyond the horizon. The thing that has enabled me to overcome this and help so many people find the most unlikely solutions to their challenges is Reimagineering and The Nicky Principle. Just because you don’t know doesn’t mean you can’t know. So seek out the Teachers, Mentors, Guides, Pioneers and Reimagineers and set your sights beyond the horizon because out there lies the information and ideas that will change everything. Your world will never be the same again. We can all have a joyful, rewarding and fulfilling life - all we have to do is Reimagineer It.
