Hot shop is mainly for blowing technique that using iron or steel pipe to blow glassware . It also used for hot sculpture, pressing, and sand casting. Equipments : furnace, pipe warmer, annealing kiln, bench , marvel, pipe, punty, jack, tweezers, scissors , wooden ladle, shaping mold, newspaper and water bucket.

Cold - work studio is for lamp working ( solid sculpture, tubing, neon, glass beads ), stained glass, painting, sandblasting, diamond pen engraving, acid etch, grinding, polishing, laminating, and combination. Equipments : torch burner, hydrogen - oxygen generator (or oxygen tank and gas tank ), glass cane warmer, annealing kiln, working table, grinding machine, polishing machine, engraving machine, graphite board, acid etch container, UV light, tweezers, diamond pen, sandblaster, graphite stick, file, sand paper, soldering gun, paint brush and pallet.

Kiln forming techniques use a kiln to make glassware. The techniques include lost wax casting, refractory plaster mold casting, pate de verre, fusing, slumping, sagging, gold leaf sandwich, Millefiori glass, enameling. Equipments : kiln, vacuum machine, wax steamer, working table, water bucket, scale, mixer, thermometer, sculpture tools, wax repairing tools, mold removing tools.
