Proud to care for our community in Salford

St Ann’s Hospice has been caring for the people of Salford and beyond for more than 50 years. We are proud to be part of this strong community.

At the beginning of the Summer we were delighted to be awarded the Excellence Award and Large Business of the Year at the Salford Business Awards.

Rachel McMillan, Chief Executive of St Ann’s Hospice, said: “Being part of the community in Salford is so important to us and we are committed to caring for the people who live here with care and compassion. It is a privilege to be part of these awards with the other amazing businesses in Salford.”

The Summer also saw St Ann’s team up with the Salford Red Devils for a brilliant takeover day at their match against local rivals, Leigh Leopards. It was a day full of fun for families and spectators and we are so grateful to everyone for donating to the hospice on the day.

It was just the latest way that the Salford Red Devils team has supported the hospice and we look forward to working together again very soon.

We rely on the kindness and generosity of our community every day to raise the vital funds we need to keep St Ann’s Hospice running. We need to raise £20,000 a day to keep our doors open and continue our important work caring for people with life limiting illnesses and their families.
