OUR MOST IMPORTANT CURRENCY IS TIME

I recently had the opportunity to read a post by Tim Vieira in which he presented “a new currency”: time.
The importance of time has been talked about for a long time, but this brief post motivated me to share this topic with you, because I believe that, more for some than for others, everyone senses in some way that we don’t notice the day passing by.
How many of us say that 24 hours a day is not enough? That we have “a thousand friends” but that there will be few on whom we can really count? That the end of the week comes and we didn’t even notice it passing? “Another year has passed!”, will be what most will say “soon”.
Tim mentions in his post that the most important currency is not the euro, the dollar or the pound (I would also add cryptocurrency). And indeed, it is not.
For most, life is a rush and they don’t value quality moments, those that really matter. Money has its importance, yes, but what good is it if we don’t have a healthy, happy life, if we can’t share a smile, a sunset. We are in this passing world and the “currency” will be of no use if it is not applied to things that allow us to leave it better than what we found. Not to leave us with the feeling of wasted time.
So use your time wisely and with purpose. Our time is limited. Thank you Tim.
