LETTERS TO EVETTE

You're not angry, you're hurtSo you pick up that vodka and put it to workToo afraid to face your demons but it was never your fault

It happened when you were a kid and now that you're an adult

You supress all your painLet it hide behind your nameLike a tornado you come and tear everything upWrecking everyone's life but you dont give a f*ckNo if, ands, or butsEverything has to go your way

And if it doesn't, god forbid that person lives to see another day

I’m not angry, I’m passionate, hungry for success

Because instead of sitting in your presence I want to be doing my best

I don't hate you, I resent you, and I say that with my chest

I'm not angry, I'm hurt, and that's just something you have to digest.
