FAST-TRACK TO SUCCESS WITH OUR BACHELOR OF BUSINESS PATHWAY PROGRAMME If you’ve graduated with the New Zealand Diploma in Business, you have the opportunity to fast track to a Bachelor of Business through our Advanced Standing Pathway programme.

Still need to complete some courses? If you have not completed the following courses in your New Zealand Diploma in Business you can still apply for this programme. If you have not completed 101/501 Accounting Practices, 201/601 Financial Accounting and 202/602 Management Accounting under the New Zealand Diploma in Business you need to complete the relevant Bachelor of Business course. If you wish to satisfy CA requirements for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand membership, you must also complete 71210 Corporate and Finance Law and 71205 Business Finance (if you did not complete 603 Business Finance in your New Zealand Diploma in Business). Unspecified major: If you wish to complete a Bachelor of Business with an unspecified major please give us a call on 0508 650 200 to discuss, as the study requirements will differ depending on which courses you have already completed in the New Zealand Diploma in Business.

Next steps: To fast track your study, apply for admission. You can do this by applying online at openpolytechnic.ac.nz/businesspathway We will review your application and be in touch to let you know the next steps. Once your application for admission has been accepted, you can enrol in the Bachelor of Business with advanced standing. You will have five years to complete a single major and six years to complete a double major from the date of your first enrolment in the programme.
