Class starts! The Summer English Camp catered for the children of clients of OI China commenced on 2 July. This year, there are five interns from Australia and the US supporting the work as teachers. Between Anhui and Jiangxi offices a total of 91 students registered.
Mr Fan, in order to start a family with wife 5 years ago, returned to his hometown, Hefei without a job. Started with a 3000 Yuan loan with OI he opened a food stall. Through years of strives and hard work, Fan recently opened a new restaurant and created 20 jobs for his village.

Also thanks the Lord for the journey mercy as Shernaali returned home on completion of her internship. • Praise the Lord that the Summer English Camp 2008 successfully opened in both Anhui and Jiangxi offices. May the Lord bless the children and our intern teachers through the classes. • Thank God for His provision and guidance, most of our newly designed loan products have been approved by the banks. Many of our clients are benefited from these new services. Also, thanks the Lord that OI China achieved above break-even results for the first half of 2008. Prayer Requests: • Pray for God’s provision of co-workers to join our team. As we grow to serve more poor entrepreneurs we need more fellow workers to share the load and rejoice the harvest with us. • Please pray that our Lord uses OI China to progressively bring blessings and love to the millions of farmers in the rural areas of China as we carry out our growth strategy this year. • Pray for the provision of the additional funding needs of OIC. As a result of the recent rapid development of our services the loan guarantee fund needs to be replenished quickly. • Pray for the Nation’s recovery from the Sichuan earthquake and the recent flood in southern China.
