The preparation of Huai’an Office is on track. •
Total population of Huai’an is 5.4 million in an area of 10,072 km2.

OI China’s office is located in the Chuzhou District. This is an old city of Huai’an in Chinese history. The location is convenient and can have access to the rural areas of Huai’an.

In this historic city, the trace of early Chinese resident activities goes back to about 6,000 years ago.
• This is the birth place of Ruth Bell Graham (June 10, 1920 – June 14, 2007), born Ruth McCue Bell, wife of the famous evangelist Billy Graham. •
On June 10, 2010, Franklin Graham officially dedicated the Ruth Bell Graham Bible Institute in Huai’an.
Praises & Thanksgivings: •
Thank God for the wonderful results of 2011. The total number of jobs impacted through the team of OI China reached 37,013. Amongst these, a total of 2,250 poverty stricken families have been touched and more than 50 disabled people directly affected by the loans issued.

Praise the Lord the Chinese New Year finished with an exciting note for OI China. A happy and healthy boy was born to Sunny Sun, our HR Supervisor, on the Chinese New Year’s Day!
Prayer Requests: •
Pray for the business expansion and its related funding work of OI China. The business development teams are working on the start-up of Huai’an and the new Siyang County operations. We expect to serve more poor and marginalised through the expansions.

Pray for the induction and assimilation of new co-workers including Mandy, VP Finance; Sophie, Suyu Risk Manager; Ian, Huai’an Risk Manager and Josh, Suyu Branch Manager.
