OI China PRAYER LETTER July 2010 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law…. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” ~ Galatians 5: 23 & 25 (KJV)
The directors and guests of OI China visited Suyu in June. They visited 8 OIC clients in 2 days. The photo was taken outside one of the client’s cloth manufacturing factory. The factory is owned by a returned migrant worker; Mr. Ling. He took a loan of 45K to add 10 more sewing machines to the plant. He now has 30 sewing machines and employs 34 people; amongst them are 5 disabled and 16 below-poverty-line households workers.
Ms Li, a farmer in rural Hefei, encountered extreme difficulty due to the recent climate changes. She survived snowstorm and then drought and then the recent flood through strong partnership with OIC. Ms Li presented this banner to OIC as a token of her appreciation of the love and care of our team. The banner reads “Thanks to Opportunity for your timely help; Supported my business and transformed my live.” Ms Li and her husband are both new born Christians now.
