OI China PRAYER LETTER July 2014

The OI China and Caterpillar Foundation 2014 Collaboration Program was launched on 24 June at the plant of Caterpillar in Xuzhou, China. The Program started with an introduction of Caterpillar Xuzhou Plant by General Manager, Alan Yang, followed by a factory tour.
The OI China 2014 Internship Program commenced on 23 June. All interns arrived Suyu safely from Australia and USA before 22 June. The interns will be trained to conduct micro-credit business in four branches of OI China, northern Jiangsu Province.
Praises & Thanksgivings: Thank God for the safe arrival of all interns from the US, Australia and Taiwan. Praise the Lord for the grand opening of the OI China and Caterpillar Foundation 2014 Collaboration Program. This year, the Caterpillar operations in China will actively participating OI China’s Summer English & Music Camp, catered for the children of OIC’s clients. The interns took the grand tour of Caterpillar’s plant in order to get the insights before they teach in the Camp about Caterpillar’s machinery, corporate culture and its corporate social responsibility programs. Prayer Requests: Pray for the preparation of 2014 Summer English & Music Camp. This year, there are 86 students registered for the Camp. Please pray for the organization of the first collaboration of OIC and Caterpillar and the teachers. May the children benefit from the teachings and the name of the Lord be praised. Pray for the disaster relief call of the Chinese authority and the victims. The heavy rain in Southern China has triggered flood and landslides, cutting off roads and communications, and causing major damage to local farms and houses. Most residents in Provinces of Anhui, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong have suffered from the torrential rains and tropical storms lately.
