OI China PRAYER LETTER June 2010 “Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised. The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.” ~ Psalm 113: 1 – 4 (KJV)
Thank God that the client training programs held in Hefei during May was very successful. There were 2 training programs held in Hefei during the month of May. There were some 20 clients attended the sales and marketing training and 12 in the HR management. The clients appreciate the training very much and requested for more. They believe upgrading their knowledge and skills is as important as having loan capital when they expand their businesses. They particularly like the OIC’s relaxing and interactive way of training.
When client Xiaopo Ma met OI China’s loan officer in 2009 she had only just started her children’s shoe manufacturing business. While her husband was sick in bed after his business in Yunnan collapsed Xiaopo had to find a job to support the whole family. After trying out many different trades she learned to make children’s shoes for neighbours. As soon as she took loans from OIC and attended our cash flow management training she opened her own shoe store. Now her business is doing well and her husband recovered. ‘Big Sister Ma’ becomes a role model in the community.

The board of directors enjoyed fellowship with the supporters and sponsors during their brief visit to Taipei between 29 and 31 May. Thank God for the love and support of brothers and sisters in Taiwan. It was a clear demonstration of the boundless love of Christ shared amongst His people.
