OI China PRAYER LETTER June 2011
"I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High." ~ Psalm 9: 1 - 2 (NIV)
Mr Zhang, a mushroom grower, benefited from the special training and support services of OI China. He came and presented two flags as token of his appreciation. His wife, Weitao, offered the banners to manager John Zhu (left) and general manager Eric Chen (right), of OI China Suqian.
Ms Cai Lingli expanded her small workshop of knitwear after taking a small loan and business training from OIC. Her 25worker workshop is able to take orders from domestic and overseas customers. She is happy as she is able to share her ‘opportunity’ with those jobless and homeless people.
Praises & Thanksgivings: •
Our client Zhang Xueguo, a mushroom grower in Suqian, presented us two banners showing his appreciation of our client service and training support. The first banner says “Timely helping hands relieved business hardship” and the second flag reads “Friendly cooperation enabled business development”. This self-initiated gesture warmed the hearts of all members of OIC. May the name of our Lord be praised.
•
Praise the Lord, OIHK, during its first 6 months of establishment, delivered wonderful results. It has built strong relationship with supporters and donors in HK. Thanks also to the wonderful service of our three coworkers in OIHK, they helped to establish a Young Ambassador Opportunity (YAO) HK; a Friday lunch gathering of donors and sponsors and many other voluntary teams from HK, including the website design and filming and media work, to support the ministry of OI China within a very short period of time.
Prayer Requests: •
Project Canaan, a second phase of expansion strategy of OI China, is scheduled to be launched early July. The project team is doing the final preparation now. Please continue to pray for the resources needed for the growth and development of the operations, including financial and faithful co-workers.
•
Pray for the wisdom and blessings from the Lord on behalf of the Board of OI China as it needs to make a critical decision for its long term development strategy towards the end of June.
