OI China PRAYER LETTER November 2013
“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." ~ Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Praise the Lord, the satellite office of Liujun, Huai’an Branch, is open for operations within short period of preparation. The local government officials of Liujun Town allocated this office (upper level of the building) to us at no cost. Two local loan officers, Sharon and Vickie, reported to work in mid-Oct already.
In order to promote the quality of our service, OI China emphasizes the importance of training and coaching of staff and clients at all time. A series of loan processing and financial management training courses for all levels of managers were conducted on 25 October. At the end of the training all trainees passed the test and ready to apply the knowledge and skills at their posts.
Praises & Thanksgivings: Praise the Lord that after the suffering from natural disasters of bird flu and tornados most of our clients have recovered from the negative impact. As a result, the performance of OIC operation is recovering. The sustainability of the operation is exceeding expectations. Thank God that the September audit report could be completed within 3 weeks to meet the urgent needs. It was also due to the good management of Tony and his finance team that the work could be done efficiently and effectively.
Prayer Requests: Please continue to pray for the new Xuzhou MCC operation development and Hefei Loan Guarantee License renewal. May the Lord opens more doors for us to deliver our services to more people. Pray for the health of our co-workers Matt Schauer, Rachel Wood, Caroline Wang and Jensen Huang. Possibly due to the low level of hygiene of local food Matt is in a more serious condition than others and need to return home for treatment. When the weather becomes cold in northern Jiangsu Jensen developed back pain. Also, Henry’s mother and Gary’s mother were diagnosed of cancer and Shane’s father had a car accident recently. May the Lord’s healing hands be upon them and keep them safe.
