Praises & Thanksgivings: •
Thank God for the smooth completion of OI China 2010 Internship Program. The six interns completed their internship program with excellent results. They spent time in China between June and August to learn about microfinance. During the Program, they had the opportunity to participate in loan processing, risk management and even attended several credit committee meetings to assess loan applications. They were also involved in projects like product and service designs, developing marketing plans, financial reporting and other client services field work. In addition, they designed and conducted excellent Summer English Camp for the children of our clients. The program completed on 13 August satisfactorily.

Praise the Lord for the successful launch of the new service of OIC, the OIC Rural Service Centre (RSC). RSC is the window of OIC in the villages and townships for initial loan enquiries, client training and services requests and loan repayment processing points. RSCs expedite OIC services to the remote rural areas and reduce the workload of OIC mobile banks.
•
Thank God for His provision! The final capital injection for the MCC license in Suqian completed at end of August, 2010. “He only is my rock and my salvation”. ~ Psalm 62:2.
